Anyone deploying the stroshow tonight? The Jays have been lackluster recently so he might not get the W but he's still capable of posting a nice line I think

He's looking great, Jays bats need to get it together though... the lack of offense is getting embarassing.

Absolutely. 1 thru 5 in that line up put some good swings on some good pitches and they barreled em up.

They weren't swinging if he was off the plate and the ump didn't give him much inside or outside close to the black.

I was able to watch this one and it sure looked like a tip your cap situation more than anything to hang on Stroman.

Anyone able to watch the game today? Stats look great. Know the As aren't a great lineup. Bit many Ks which is pretty common from him. But his ability to get grounders and pop flies is pretty crucial it seems. Hard to tell from ESPN gamecast though.

Sounds like a pectoral strain.   If it's grade one, he may just miss a start or not even.   grade 2 and it could be a 2-6 week thing.    Usually occurs, in athletes, because of too much weight lifting.   That is my brother in laws guess, and he is a physical trainer.   The key is that the discomfort was under his armpit.  He didn't look it much pain, so it's probably grade 1 and a few days rest and he could be good to go.   Let's hope.

At least he seemed healthy today, but is it the injury impacting the slow strikeout rate?

He's a groundball pitcher as we know so of course the elbow probably had somewhat of an ill-effect reducing his already few K ability, but facing a team like CLE he got the job done like he usually has thus far.

The bullpen lost his W. So that's unfortunate, but the buy-low window is open.

I don't mind the two runs, gives Osuna a save opportunity.   Still in line for the win.

Awful base running by the Jays this inning.   How was that runner not at 3rd base when he left early on the base hit?   Should have scored on the force out.  It's a no decision.
