gut feeling is to sell high, but man he is electric.

like someone said: velocity wise, it's Syndergaard- then Severino- then everyone else.

Really fun to watch him. Looking forward to his next start, probably Saturday vs. Houston.

Not a great matchup, but not sure it matters when you throw 99 with filth. knock on Brandon Wood.

Tried to a get little too cute managing Severino, sitting him 3 of last 4 starts (didn't trust yet). You can guess one I played him (7.94 ERA).

Lesson learned: Never trust my gut instinct again ROS.

So what happened today?   Anybody watching?

Had 10 days off between starts because of the days off/rain outs, had zero control today...

I watched most of him albeit on a bad connection, honestly he didn't look that bad, not as bad as it was on paper anyway. He got ahead of guys a lot it seemed like but just couldn't finish it, they just kept hitting soft liners. Just good hitting and hitting it where they ain't, really.

just looked back at the box, worst inning was like this-

1-1 count and he hits springer

1-2 count reddick single

gets altuve down 0-2 and fielder's choice, can't turn it on altuve

correa down 0-2, single

gattis 1-1 single

marwin G gets down 0-2, single

gurriel 0-1 single

already at about 80 pitches with 1 out in the 3rd, gets pulled, bullpen bails him out of bases loaded with a DP

They just put wood on it, didn't look horrendous or anything

Not a good outing by any means yesterday but he was getting squeezed by the ump pretty bad. Again, it wasn't a good outing, but if a few balls that were strikes would have been called he would have been able to stick around longer.

Kind of expect these kinds of games from a guy his age and lack of experience.

Hope this ride isn't over. My pitching staff is already decimated

He sucks and cannot strike anyone out. Needs to go back to the minors and learn how it pitch again

He's struggling with control tonight but he's battling. Ump also doing him no favors. You goons complaining should just drop him now. Pitching is so abundant this year

True. Getting a little squeezed tonight. But he has to stop showing his emotions on the mound
