Maybe sitting out a week for the concussion will allow his knee and shoulder and whatever in the hell else is limiting him to heal up.

Hope he does something before playoffs so he can be trusted in the lineup.  At this point there are ~20 WRs I'd rather flex than Freeman.

THIs is his 3rd concussion, one his break out year, one in preseason and the one today

That's incorrect.  He had 2 concussions in 2015 and 3 this year.  One in preseason, one last week, and one this week.

So 3 concussions in the last ~3 months...that seems like a lot.

Just another dude in my long list of draft busts every damn season.  Literally I'm cursed, name a player, I've had him, on/in the worst year of his career/injured.

Maybe this is for the rant/vent thread.

But maybe this is also for the draft strategy discussion for next season:

- a certain amount of bust is always expected (ie around 50% is normal I think)

- maybe also you target the wrong players (I have no idea)

- but maybe you just have too high expectations?

The truth is, all we have is last year's numbers and some conjectures, and that just isn't that good of a predictor. Here are last year's top RBs:

1

David Johnson Ari - RB

2

Ezekiel Elliott Dal - RB

3

LeSean McCoy Buf - RB

4

Le'Veon Bell Pit - RB

5

DeMarco Murray Ten - RB

6

Devonta Freeman Atl - RB

7

LeGarrette Blount Phi - RB

8

Melvin Gordon LAC - RB

9

Jordan Howard Chi - RB

10

Mark Ingram NO - RB

11

Jay Ajayi Phi - RB

12

Frank Gore Ind - RB

Out of those:

- 4 more or less performed up to last year's standard (bold)

- 4 dropped a bit (including Freeman who went from RB6 to RB15)

- 4 dropped out of the top25 or even more (italics).

If you look at it like that, Freeman isn't even a draft bust - if anything, he's more or less middle of the road.

OF those this year, I have McCoy, Murray (who I just traded away last week, shoot me) AND Freeman.  But good insight, for sure.

RB13, 14 and 15. No shooting required, I'd say - I can only hope you traded him for value :)

Traded for him in week 7,

his points before that : 10, 22, 20, 14, 8

After: 9, 6, 6, 0, IA

thanks I guess

so it's your fault.  you should trade him to someone else so the rest of us can enjoy the success we know he is capable of.  Obviously you don't know how to use him right since he has sucked since joining your team

Looks like he might play this week? It's questionable. He's projected 15 points , but in reality will score like 7 or something .

Looks like he might NOT play...
