I don't think anyone can be shocked. He had a great first half but he's probably not repeating it in the 2nd half. Not to say that he won't be useful but an .875 OPS 35 HR pace probably isn't happening.

I'm thinking of dropping.

It was initially a bonus so don't call me an ingrate (!), but Schebler hasn't attempted a stolen base in a month and a half.

Also, the batted ball profile has gradually been deteriorating.

That is to say, I'm wary of being stuck with, say a .780 OPS 2nd half guy with no steals.

I really should have trusted my instincts and cut Mr. Schebler.

Sweet jesus he's been horrific since the break.

Reds placed OF Scott Schebler on the 10-day disabled list with a left shoulder strain.

The injury may explain Schebler's recent struggles. The 26-year-old got off to a booming start with 22 first-half homers but has hit just a miserable .077 with 17 strikeouts in 52 at-bats since the All-Star break.
Guess this guy's crater job doesn't even warrant anyone posting about him going on DL.   Any Reds fans have intel on how long he'll be out?  Obviously this makes him cuttable, even in the deep leagues where power starved teams were still holding on.
