Guys, he's fine. He really hasn't been needed in either one of these first two games. Oakland has had complete control over both of these teams so far. In the tough AFC West where games will be closer, he will be in on 75% of snaps. The close games are where he is going to leave his mark, not these games that Oakland plays against soft defenses.

I am super happy with the way the Raiders are using him. He has a couple very talented, explosive guys behind him on the depth chart that they can put in there to keep Marshawns work load down so that he can save himself to put games away late and in the bigger picture help put the season away down the stretch. I think 275-300 carries for him would be a terrible real world and fantasy football idea. As someone said, week 1 was week 1, and yesterday was a blow out and they didn't need him. There will be plenty of close games wherrr his usage will be high. I am looking forward to see what he can do against KC and Denver.

Can't wait til this dude puts up some 2 or 3 touchdown games. Lat Murray had 12 TDs last year, including three multiple touchdown games.

Last week it it seemed like OAK was almost using Beastmode as a decoy. On at least one Crabtree's touchdowns, Carr changed the play at the line of scrimmage with Lynch in the backfield. Defenses will adjust and Marshawn will get his.

Buy low low if you can

I'm thinking about sitting him this week. They have been keeping him fresh, which I don't mind. I have Bell, Hyde, Chris Thompson, to fill my RB spots. How many points do you feel he is going to get this week?

I could see starting hyde over him but if it's standard I'd roll out Bell, Hyde, and Beast Mode

Is there a buy low window here? As a Marshawn owner maybe others had different expectations but I'm certainly not mad about what I've gotten.

It's funny that you guys are talking about buying, because I'm actually not opposed to selling. The workload freaks me out a little. Make no mistake this is a comittee.

I'm dreading the week when he gets an equal amount of touches to one of the RBs down the depth chart.  I think he looks good and is an asset to this team but I get the overall feeling that they view him as an instrumental piece to their arsenal but that the offense is going to revolve around Carr and beyond that the numbers that get called will be based on who the coaches think give them the best chances to do what needs to be done in the moment.  And all the backs have been playing well making those decisions tough.  I'll have to dig through some stats today and see if we can't figure out who might be performing best where it matters (i.e. ypc on 1st down, 3rd and short conversions, drops).

I'm not sure how much can be gleaned by this but I figure it doesn't hurt to post it.

For someone I somehow got in the 5th of a 12 team, I'm elated. He should be a rock solid RB2 all year with a reasonable floor but man, he has a good chance to lead the league in RZ and GL carries.

wish I had him in my standard league instead of PPR! Health permitting, a barrage of touchdowns seems inevitable.

It's funny how people are so willing to gamble on an unproven rookie, but less willing to pay up for a veteran star who was injured or away from the game for a bit.

Fun guy to own, too.

Probably a good time to try and buy low if he is someone you want.  Vs Denver then Baltimore which may sound 'scary' (which is good if you're trying to buy low) but the one game Oakland participated in this year that wasn't a complete blow-out is the one he had his most touches.  For people looking to sell I think there will be better times to do it.

Anyone confident  starting him this week ? I feel the game script would be similar to the Redskins game

No way. Denver have allowed 54, 8 and 21 yards to Melvin Gordon, Ezeke and Mccoy. 3 goddamn first rounders. If anything they do allow some passing yards to backs but Beastmode isn't gonna get many of those either.

I think I'm benching him for Ingram this week. I normally don't bench my studs but it's not like Lynch has been an RB1 this year. As just mentioned, Denver has held 3 really good backs to very little yardage. Also, Lynch hasn't been given a ton of carries so far (18, 12, 6 over the 1st 3 weeks) partly due to game script and partly due to how the staff is using him in the offense thus far.

Lynch isn't a stud anymore

Anyone rolling this against Denver in Denver? Call me nuts but I'm considering unleashing Kamara instead, as Lynch seems very TD dependent this week.

That is not too crazy heading into week 4 games. Especially if you are in a PPR league.
