S'up with Duda now?  Missed last two rehab games and Collins said he won't be activated when eligible.  More mystery.

I'm 15 minutes from Citifield.  I can recommend a great Urgent Care in Astoria, gotta be better than what they Mets are doing now.  X-rays on premises and they can recommend a specialist if needed.

This team is a disgrace.  An absolute f***** disgrace.  They just let their Ferrari out of the garage with the check engine light flashing and now the tranny just dropped. They don't deserve nice things.

I'm thinking that's it.The Mets lost all their equipment in the Maddoff thing. Then they ran out of bandaids. The last starw though was the last time they moved the fences in.They replaced the good dirt with new dirt that doesn't heal UCLs and stuff as well when rubbed on.

What's unbelievable is that the Mets even after all these years continue to use the same medical staff, doctors, trainers etc. How Ray Ramirez still has a job for this team as a trainer for the last 10+ years is beyond me. You would think they would make a change even if it was just for the sheer optics of it.

What kind of mickey mouse team lets the player dictate whether he gets an MRI or not? Just unreal and when I started this thread I never imagined it'd come to this.

Lol it is kinda crazy how this started as a cheeky joke, and where it's gotten to now

I mean, unless there's a clause in his contract specifically stating he has to get an MRI when they tell him to, the player has the final say over his medical treatment.

And would you allow this joke of a medical staff to perform any sort of scan on you? I sure wouldn't...

Haha fair point, but Mr. Superhero isn't too good at diagnosing himself, either. As a result of his negligence and their incompetence he's going to be out for a long time.

I mean honestly the Mets medical staff has their hands full: The front office doubled down and invested heavily in young hard-throwing prima donnas (OK they're not all prima donnas)

It's the chicken and the egg. Everyone suggests the Mets' pitchers issues are a symptom of the Mets' medical staff's incompetence. But maybe it's the myriad freaking medical issues these pitchers have that have the Mets's staff overwhelmed.

If the medical staff is too overwhelmed to know throwing a guy out there after a biceps injury without an MRI to confirm he's good to go, they shouldn't be working in an MLB medical staff. If you can't handle the heat, get out of the kitchen.
