Julian Edelman 2017 Season Outlook

Recommended Posts

Finished last season 98/1106/3.

It was a miserable start of the season and thought he would light it up upon Brady's suspension return but didn't find the end zone much at all.

Current ADP 48 and in the tier with Fitzgerald and Crabtree.

How will the the addition of Cooks and emergence of Mitchell affect Edelman?

ADP of WR26 in PPR leagues on FFC. Right in there with the Tate/Martavis/Fitzgerald/Benjamin grouping. Other than the upside potential (plus suspension risk) of Martavis, not sure I'd go with any of them over Edelman. I know Cooks is now on the team which is probably what has depressed his ADP, but addition of Cooks could really help open things up for Edelman. Last year he finished WR14. Any reason he can't finish WR16-20 range this year in PPR leagues?

Cooks will draw the top corner on opposing defendes I suppose. So Edleman is gonna feast on the #2's. Nobody has Brady's trust more than Edleman.

Cooks will help edleman a lot more than most think.

Danny Amendola. Until he gets hurt.

Amendola is the direct replacement, worth a flier.

But he won't get nearly the amount of targets. The difference will spread out amongst Cooks/Hogan/Gronk, upgrade those guys.
