Should I scoop him up in my 12 team? I need a scorer.

Before I pick someone up, I like to normalize their line to their career averages. If he shot his career average %s (instead of his unsustainable 86% today), his line would be 2/13/3/3/1/0. It's up to you to decide if that's worth it for your team. Also Mitchell only took 6 shots. I think that normalized line is bang on for what you should expect ROS.

I disagree with most on here I think Rodney is going up. he's the second option on the team and the best at running pick and rolls . plus you have to factor in the Lebron James effect and take into account all the wide open shots he will be getting as opposed to him being a defensive focal point in utah

Nice take on it. Especially the 2nd option aspect. We'll wait and see and we're nervous about all the depth but you def could be right.

I've thought it through and it really depends on how they use him.. Let's be honest here... Besides Lebron and love, who was even worth owning on this cavs this season? No one... With Love out, maybe that makes Hood look good until then. But I have serious concerns about whether he can put up consistent production in Cleveland.

Having that said, I have him in one league and will ride it out.

Whatever happens, JR is literal trash lol. It took until like last week or so for him to be benched because he's in Lebron's inner circle, but it seems like everyone on Cavs, including JR himself, understand that he brings nothing.

No defence as always, but now no offense as well.

Don't know about Hood being the second option, I have a hard time seeing him supplant Korver or JR who have been there all season and have established chemistry with Lebron. Don't even know if he'll be prioritized over Clarkson tbh. Not to mention the fact that he'll probably get hurt after a game or two.

Forgot that Cedi Osman is also on the team and seems well like by Lebron. Another rotation player to muck things up.

I see Rodney going up in value. When you think about it, Korver and JR are 3 pt specialists whereas Rodney has a decent midrange, attack game and the 3 pt shot. As of right now, how many guys on that cavs team can create their shot besides lebron? I agree that there is wing depth, but the truth is that Hood is a very different player than JR and Korver. So maybe he'll take a hit if it's a matchup situation, but on a team that desperately needs a shot creator,  he provides much more offensive versatility compared to the other wings.

Team was doing just fine when it was the Lebron show earlier in the season. When IT came on and started trying to play iso ball is when things got screwed up.
