He's not playing tonight because the 76ers aren't playing tonight.

Not trading. Never. I’m riding until the end even if it means he gets injured again, it’s an honor to have him on my team. #BabyHakeem

Yeah, and LBJ is better than everyone...except not in fantasy though!   Even if Embiid gets through the season he is going to kill your TOs, FG% and FT% aren't super (ok though), he is going

2017 - 25 mpg | 2.5 bpg

2018 - 32 mpg | 1.9 bpg

For those watching Sixers Games.. why the drop? Not used playing big minutes and so he is pacing himself? Nobody dares to drive to the basket with him in the game?

It's combination of both. Taking care of his body.

Last year he tried to swat any and everything, and he was always landing awkwardly. I mean, always. Than can only lead to bad things. He still does it this year but less. That and obviously after playing 70 some games now players around the league don't try to drive on him much anymore

Turns out, he's ok. And hopefully he plays Friday. I need him..

Joel Embiid (face) went to a local hospital for precautionary tests.

The good news is he didn't have any concussion symptoms, and X-rays were negative for a fracture to his face. The 76ers could update his status tomorrow, but they are traveling to Atlanta for a Friday game. For now, hopefully Embiid is good to go for that one. If he's not, that would make Richaun Holmes a hot fantasy add.

What type of line are we expecting from Holmes?

"He's coming off a breakout season in Philly and really shined when Joel Embiid (knee) went down, averaging 13.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.2 blocks, 1.0 steals and 0.7 3-pointers on 58.1 percent shooting after the All-Star break"

But that's last year and this year a different squad. So something along the lines. Hopefully he starts and get mad minutes but again who knows with Saric, Simmons, Illy.
