You are patting yourself on your back for taking Freeman and Hunt, but then neglect the fact that zero-RB proponents were advocating for that same Hunt in the 8th round that you ended up taking in the 2nd/3rd or whenever you took him and are saying how zero-RB theory is BS? Lolz. The theory that advocated for a player 5-6 rounds after you took him when he was still cheap. Got it. :thumbs up:

No serious league would have Hunt that late

Again, if you get a Top 2 pick in the draft, were you taking a receiver? We're all patiently awaiting your response.

If you get the 3rd-5th pick in the draft are you taking a RB?

Based on DJ's injury and Bell's sluggish look, argument could be made AB should have still been the #1 pick.

Hunt was going around pick 100-105 in drafts before Ware was injured.

Hunt had a 3rd round ADP after being named starter. Two sides to the coin. Not everyone drafts at the beginning of preseason.

Can you guys take your zero RB and other strategy talk elsewhere? This is the gameday thread.

You are drunk again. Hunt was a prime zero-RB candidate when he was going in the 8th round. You realize that, right? He epitomized the zero-RB theory.

That depends entirely on when your league drafted - before or after the injury to Ware.

Hunt went in Round 6 in my league, just after the Ware injury.  I took Tyreek Hill one pick before Hunt went (Chiefs fan grabbed Hunt).

Guys that were taken before Hunt:

Lamar Miller

Joe Mixon

LeGarrette Blount

Isaiah Crowell

Mike Gillislee

Adrian Peterson

Eddie Lacy

Hunt was floating into the 6th Round simply because there hadn't been enough time to crystallize his role in that offense.

Had zero to do specifically with zero RB - any team in the league that went RB / RB could have drafted Hunt for their FLEX spot too.

Fournette came out the gate strong, despite his team's QB play leaving a lot to be desired.  The team appears committed to their offense compiling stats on his back.

Hogan was another example after the Edelman injury.  Should we sit here and say that Hogan epitomized the zero-WR theory?  Or just call it for what it is:

Sometimes you draft guys that hit, sometimes you draft guys that miss or get injured.  Doesn't matter if it's in Rounds 1-3, or any round beyond that.
