Anthony Davis Season Outlook 2017-2018

Recommended Posts

Wonder if the Pels seriously consider trading him now.  They will be out of the playoffs by this time next month.   Cousins signing at max money next year is a huge risk.  Upside is great but the Achilles has taken down some of the best ala Kobe was never the same.  Much harder on big men.  They are strapped with the cap so a trade for help now seems unlikely.  Now is the time to hit the reset button, fire gentry, move the stud and start the rebuild.  If that is the case, Ainge is ready to pony up a lot to get him Celtics green.

FYI...there was a post here earlier that claimed to have "confirmed" a serious injury. Searching all of the usual suspects (Twitter, sports news sites, etc.) showed no recent update, so it doesn't app

Nice call, Doc.

No way they consider trading him. Already reports say they are looking to get him some help.

No way there is no way they consider trading him.  Rumors about him going to Boston were already swirling, even before Cousins went down.

AD is a once in a lifetime player, and he wants to be in New Orleans, and New Orleans loves him, the NBA loves him.

Can't just Sam Hinkie any city and think they're gonna be okay with it.

Doesn't matter what they get back it cannot be enough and won't put them in a better position for the future. If they trade him the GM loses his job and the coach as well. They are win now and they are well into the playoff race. It's the same like it is with Lillard and the Blazers. They won't trade him unless he asks them too. Small market teams don't get this kind of players really often and can only find them through the draft.
