RW blurb is pretty funny saying people should send out some buy low offers.. who's going to sell low on a guy who just got 6 steals in a game?

I think thats more of a tip to take advantage of owners who rely too heavily on point production. Which is a real thing

1. Everyone I know reads Rotoworld - especially if they play fantasy/DFS, it's not an inherent advantage. So stating these things means mostly everyone sees it.

2. If they don't read rotoworld, heck, Yahoo! will even show you the updated players notes which come straight from Rotoworld blurbs, telling you the exact same thing.

3. If you're in a competitive league, especially with guys who have been doing fantasy for years, the idea of trying to buy low on a guy who just dropped 6 steals in a game with a nice all-around line minus PPG is moot. I own Gary Harris - as I'm sure most people reading this thread do, so the idea that someone is about to float a "buy low" offer to me for him because he didn't score above 10 points in two games is laughable.

I offered Markakken for Harris two days ago, and the dude accepted right before the games started and Markkaken had his shots eaten by a returning Portis. My guess is he is regretting it, lol

A one game sample size means Markkanen is having his shots "eaten"?

Wat.

It's definitely not a good sign that a player who plays his position in his first game back take twice as many shots. Regardless of the impact Bobby has I preferred Harris.

The recency bias is strong in this one

The recency bias would be preferring Markakken over a proven fantasy stud like Gary Harris. Markakken had sole access to the PF minutes. That is no longer the case. I didn't say he won't continue producing, but you just can't ignore the context that allowed him to produce at that level has been changed. Now it's an unknown what he does with Portis in the mix. My hope is the Bulls try playing him at SF more like they planned to do before the face breaking incident.

Portis shot 62% fg.....he is a career shooter of 42% and averages 7pts a game...

It was a fluke game and he got hot. We saw this type of game once a month last year too from him...

calm down bro. Markakken is beyond fine.
