They could cut Monroe and trade Chandler yet they’ll still manage to play him 20 mpg.

Couldn't care less about all of them misses.   He has one simple job for me. Rebound the f*cking ball from a center unlike 75% of the NBA centers and he did that. Good job, Len.

Len is clearly better than Chandler and should be starting based on that, but at the same time its fair to say that part of the reason he’s able to put up such strong numbers in limited action is because he’s playing against the 2nd teamers.

He should definitely play more than 18 minutes, and I’d be pleased if he became the starter, but Id also be concerned with him routinely being in foul trouble and his usage slipping quite a bit if he was on the court with Booker and warren for extended periods.

It's not about Monroe. Monroe has not played in 4 out of last 5 games. Len got less than 18 mins in 3 of these games. He still does not have a solid role yet, but providing enough so that you can't cut him.

Agree..

The best move for PHX is trade Chandler and cut Monroe...

more minutes for Len and Chriss

Bender from the bench

Guys, do you think he's still worth the stash? His minutes are low (18ish) despite Monroe not playing, big games are coming only sporadically, his usage low is very low (7) in recent games. What do you think is going on? Haven't watched the games, is Chriss hurting Len? In that case it may be worth to cut it.

Chriss doesn't have a big impact on anybody at phoenix. Whole offense runs through tj and booker. Lens game is limited to setting picks, getting a few easy shots and grabbing boards (which he was horrendous at today.._. hence benching). I'm still expecting him to do well, and if they fall out of playoff race he'd be the first to get a big boost in min

One thing that crossed my mind recently: With him becoming a unrestricted free agent after they declined his option in the summer (showing they are not really interested in keeping him long term); are the Suns even interested in playing him big minutes or do they like him in his bench role to keep the interest of other teams low (to possibly keep him as a cheap bench player) ? How is his situation comparable to Okafor in Brooklyn?
