Well for those in the dark like me a quick Google search reveals that he is a Kansas City Chiefs WR. Presumably he is going to take conleys spot.

Conley was worthless in that role and obviously this guy will be far far down the pecking order on a team led by Alex Smith. Albeit a new and improved Alex Smith.

I could not find a thread on him, and many people are throwing him out there as a solid WW pickup. Thoughts?

Not a lot of info on this dude ... some interesting potential tho

Here is  a link that I posted in the WW thread.

Strengths

Talent jumps off the tape early in the session. Electric vertical talent that can make cornerbacks rethink their coverage plans. Has shake at the line of scrimmage to free himself against press coverage and has adequate ball tracking skills. Graceful, flexible athlete with instant turbo acceleration. Has ability to hit the home run after the catch. Races off the line and forced cornerbacks into retreat opening easy comeback catches. Has talent and ability to make a living outside or from the slot.

Weaknesses

Routes can be lazy at times. Will need to improve with selling fakes at break point of his routes as a pro. Too reliant on athleticism and speed over improvement of skill level. Hands are a concern with 11 drops to 106 catches at Florida. Plays smaller than his listed size. Suspended four times while at Florida. Scouts call him immature and selfish.

[...]

Bottom Line

Immensely talented with elite combination of straight-line speed and quick-twitch athleticism. Robinson flashes game-breaking potential as a deep ball threat and after the catch, but was suspended by two different coaches over a three-year period. While Robinson is likely to test off the charts and has the talent to be a top four receiver in this draft, it is hard to imagine his draft slot equaling his talent due to his character concerns.

I don't buy Tyreek as a true WR1.  Smith is throwing a good ball.  The Chiefs are a high scoring offense.  If you are looking to improve your roster and none of the proven assets on the waiver wire do that, for unproven assets you got (that I'm aware of) 1. Corey Davis, 2. Demarcus Robinson, and 3. Mike Williams.  I'm not sure if Robinson is more gifted or better then Williams but I see a clearer path to fantasy relevancy for him this year.

He got 5 targets today which is more then Conley had gotten in any game this season.  He got 3 in a row in the redzone near the end of the game.  He hustled his butt across the field to block a DB to help Deanthony Thomas get into the endzone.  One author says Robinson was getting open but Smith didn't find him, another says he 'turned heads' with his first start.

I’m more intrigued with him because Tyreek Hill may not play Thursday. But I like what I saw based off yesterday’s game. He was open for a potential TD that Alex Smith missed horrendously. Also got open on quite a few plays that could’ve been huge yardage, but again, Smith couldn’t find him.

Thoughts after tonight?

Tough. As was stated in the KC/Oak Gameday thread, it will be really hard to trust anyone else in this passing game outside of Kelce and Hill, but Robinson did look good. It's funny though. I wasn't really watching his routes, but from what I saw, the weaknesses outlined in his combine report seemed to be strengths while his strengths seemed to be not on display or could be considered weaknesses. Like for example, the combine report states that he runs lazy routes whereas it looked as if he ran some damn good routes and got some good separation against OAK. A few of his strengths were run after the catch and extending the defense, but in this offense with Hill and Wilson, I dont think you will see that. Instead, we saw more of some intermediate routes. Small sample size, but I'm not seeing the comparison to Mike Wallace. Marvin Jones type possibly?

Definitely someone to watch after week 8. 13 targets the last two weeks in an offense where Smith is looking extremely good and has an elite running game.

Hill is always banged up.  Kelce likewise, or he has to block.  Conley gone.  Wilson and Thomas aren't impressive. This is his second year, so he has had some time to fix a few things as well and know the system.  I'm really liking this guy.

PS - I'm extremely desperate at WR so that plays a part.  I started Lewis and Louis last week at WR.   I'd be looking at 13 year old Andy Reid in the punt, pass, kick, and wondering if he can catch the ball and get open.

After missing the entirety of 2013 with a fractured knee cap, Kelce has not missed a single start. I wouldn't bank on him missing time to open up targets.

I didn't say he'd miss time, I said banged up.  Hill has played every game, but seems to tweak something each week.  Kelce has already had a concussion.  He had a knee issue in preseason, and a calf one as well.

8 targets last week, I don't think it's a fluke. He was continuously open, Smith is throwing better this season, he seems like a solid stash in dynasty leagues. Fourth round pick in 2016, drafted before Tyreek. Has seen almost 100% of the snaps in two straight weeks. Around 16% and 23% target share last two weeks. He could be a decent ppr start going forward.

Yeah I'm grasping at straws...so I've made the add...consider myself fortunate cause I'm put of faab money and no one else made the claim....hopefully my luck of making the wrong add and drop all year is about to change

Yahoo still has him projected at 0 points.  He's the clear cut Wr2 in the team with Conley out right?

Not sure anything is clear but 5 targets followed by 8....he's getting run...
