Kamura 395
What are we feeling here with one half of the Brothers Johnson? He put up a tidy 13.7 ppg 4rpg 3.2 apg 1.3 3PM 1.2 STL 0.6 BLK .433 FG% .768 FT% 1.2 TO in 29.8 MPG All things considered, the Heat faced some real injuries last season which would have help TJ get almost 30 mpg...with their backcourt healthy now (minus McGruder) do we think he approaches these minutes and numbers again? nikogwapi2 23
I highly doubt it but for deep leagues (14+), he has value.
det_tigers 811
Last year he was ranked 82nd according to bbm. Even if he gets less minutes, I think (hope) he can still produce top 100-120 value. FWIW, I got him at 133 in 16 teamer.
Kamura 395
It's interesting I'm looking at the minutes distribution from last season and trying to figure out how he would not get the same? Maybe Jrich playing more will take some from TJ? Perhaps the return of Winslow also could be a factor? duke of queens 1,063
Is this guy rosterable right now in 12 teamers? Lack of mins is really killing the value.
DoctorLove 312
Looks like Waiters' ankle is becoming a concern again. Will Tyler Johnson get the lion's share of extra minutes if Waiters goes down? Does it make him rosterable in 12 teamers?
s-kayos 2,161
Imo this is just a slow start. His numbers so far are way off his career averages, and he's with the same team with stable minutes and as mentioned, Waiters ankle issues are flaring up. I'd be buying stock in TJ right now, not overvaluing him, but the last 3 years have shown us that he's way better than this. In my opinion he'll definitely be rosterable soon.
s-kayos 2,161
18 pts and 3 threes with 1 stl and 1 blk and it's only the end of the 3rd. Could be the start of his bounceback. Notable that JRich couldn't make a shot though.
sickrookie 395
Dragic/waiters/J Rich not the most durable guys. So it's not a bad idea to stash him on the bench, or handcuff him to any of the above.
escanorvailfriks 7
Watching the Suns Heat game. Tyler is out because of concussion. And rotoworld does not have any blurb.

Johnson said he would play, but the team announces he won't be out there with plenty of time to share. With him out, there could be more minutes available for Goran Dragic, Dion Waiters and Josh Richardson, but Wayne Ellington should also get more run. It's also possible Richardson moves to a bench role, but he'll be getting big minutes tonight.

No, I'm just a Wall owner scrambling to replace him, and I thought about Tyler Johnson. I know it's an AC thread question, but this thread has next to no activity at all haha

Would have dropped already if it wasn't for the healthy dose of stocks. Really confused as to why myself. In his 4 year career with the Heat he's never shot this bad.. 42% (his lowest) isn't amazing but it's nowhere close to 35% from the field.. Every single year prior he shot above 37% from three, but is now shooting only 30%..add to that his FT% is off the charts in comparison (95% compared to his career averages of 78%) And the minutes are there, 27 mpg is definitely enough for some decent lines.. I'm not sure whether this will be a season-long shooting slump like I've seen before, or whether he'll bounce back later, but I think these averages are extremely uncharacteristic of TJ, especially for a shooter who can hit 9.5 out of 10 of his free throw attempts this year. At least, as you said, stocks are still there. He's always been a decent rebounder and shotblocker for his position. Edited December 1, 2017 by s-kayos 1

Their FG% is bad, but the peripherals are solid. I'm going to wait and see which one breaks out before making any moves. It's looking to be J Rich, but you never know, because the Heat's young players are so inconsistent!
