What's the worst trade offer you've received (or offered) so far this year?

Recommended Posts

Mine (from a notoriously bad-trade-offerer):

received October 6th

I give - Alshon Jeffery, Dak Prescott, and Tarik Cohen

I get - David Johnson, Andrew Luck, and Alex Collins

I declined.  I know, it's a gamble...

BTW, it's a 12 team standard-scoring redraft league with 4 playoff spots (3 division winners, 1 wc)

12 team .5 PPR

Guy in my league is notorious for sending trash offers, this was the latest episode. 10/16/2017

I offered: Martin, DMC and Morris (He is a Zeke owner)

For: L Mccoy

He countered:  E. Sanders, R. Cobb & Forte

For: Martin and K Benjamin

He then attempted to defend his offer, trade talks ceased very quickly.

McCoy for my Fournette -This might depend on the week. First or second week it's not a terrible offer

Paul Perkins for my Derrick Henry -This one is funny

Gillisee for my Mike Evans -Kinda same as the first trade offer. If it was after week 2 it's not a bad offer based on performance up to that point.

McCoy for Fournette- offered every week until I straight up started ignoring him(hasn't offered for 2 weeks so far)

Paul Perkins for Henry- was the week everyone was praising Henry to start because of Murray's hammy. I can't recall which week but during that time.

Gills for Mike Evans- The same as McCoy and Fournette(every week until straight ignoring him)

It's not the worst offer in the world, but it didn't take me long to click "reject".

12-team, 1/2 PPR.

I give Kareem Hunt and DeAndre Hopkins.

I get Tom Brady.

No4 QB in that league for No1 RB and No4 WR. No thanks.

it actually is the worst offer in the world!

Nah, nowhere close.  Brady has name value for a reason.  Gronk's still alive at this point, so the name value holds.  Would depend how bad the Hunt owner was hurting at the QB position, and whether or not he had depth at RB/WR.  But a normal counter-offer would simply be to tack on either a WR or RB to the Brady side of the equation.  Simple.
