Wonder how Lebron acts during the Kyrie tribute video..

Kyrie was the only single superstar to pair with Lebron that got Lebron a championship. (Bosh=star, Love=good player) There should and will be nothing but love for Kyrie from Lebron, until the game starts and then he is like any other opponent. Without Kyrie there is no 3rd championship for Lebron and that is fact. Lebron left the Heat and there was nothing but love from the guys he left behind. I expect it to be the exact same towards Kyrie and there is no reason why it wouldn't be.

We get caught up in narratives. This Cavs team has radically transformed over the offseason. He has his new crew and he is getting to roll with them. Why would Lebron be caught up on Kyrie? The last time they were together they got handled in the finals and it wasn't all that competitive. The championship was 2 years ago and was a gift from Draymond. Without change the Cavs would have been playing for a silver medal.

Warriors winning by 30 tonight, rockets don't stand a chance.

Continuity is key. Agree with the outcome, not sure I agree with the margin. Unless people sit out for the Warriors I don't think we see a competitive game.

I read somewhere that Draymond is taking offense to these teams adding players thinking they even have a chance at defeating the warriors. He and the team are on a mission to destroy the league and leave no hope left for any organization.

How is that any different than what they have been doing for the last 2 years? Draymond is a competitor and is looking for anything to keep his team interested through another meaningless regular season that they can sleep walk through if healthy. Nothing to see here. They always play hard. To run their offensive and defensive systems requires sustained effort.

It's different because a handful of teams "upgraded" this season to chase the warriors, don't think that was the case all that much last season. Yeah they're always competitive, duhhh. you're missing my point. Im saying this is a new motivation for the team.

New motivation or not, it won't change one thing. They aren't going to try any harder this year because they can't try harder. They try every game and every year. That is who they are and why they are nasty, unquestioned champions, and untouchable unless there is injury. They already thought they were the best last year, and the year before, and that means everyone in the NBA is gunning for you. Don't get caught in the rhetoric. The Warriors will crush because they have a ridiculously talented team that plays incredibly unselfish, team basketball. They are the equivalent of taking any Spurs player in their primes over their decade plus run of dominance and forming a Spurs superteam. And even then I would probably take this Warriors squad in a 7 game series.

We will never know what would happen if Zaza did not make that <insert your description here>  play that injured Kawhi.  If I remember correctly Spurs were up by 20  :)

All Spurs squad would beat the warriors. Small ball won’t work on prime Tim Duncan he would have 50 pts a night and every rebound. Prime Parker is a finals MVP, plus Khawi and Prime Ginobli?? It would be over. Let’s not mention David Robinson smh

I wish we could see that play out. Personally, I am not a fan of KD and the Warriors. But talent typically wins out over a 7 game series of equally well coached teams.

I will take that Spurs super team in 5.

An all Warriors squad would include Chris Mullin, Mitch Richmond and Hardaway. The Spurs would be impressive, but I'm not sure they'd have enough offense to stop the 3's parade.

I think every team that has a dominant big man with limited range says the same thing....but 3 points is worth more than 2 points. And the Spurs prime players come from an era when the 3 ball was not a required skill (gotta take the games they had when they were in their primes)

Steph>prime Parker (who was a mid range specialist in his prime)

Klay=prime Manu (we will look back on Klay as the Pippen to KD's MJ)

KD=Kawhi

Iggy=Bowen....let's face it, Zaza ain't playing more than 3 minutes against prime TD until Kerr dictates pace. Bowen is on the starting 5 because of his 3 and D....and ability to go "Zaza on Kawhi crime" on anyone of the Warriors three points shots...this is the real equalizer....how many ankles would Bowen turn

Dray=TD....I know, I know....crazy. But Draymond holds his own against every elite big man in the league. The Warriors expose every big without range already. Why would prime TD be any different?

Pop>Kerr....this is why it would go 7.

Duncan his prime, Bruce Bowen, Kawhi, Green and a warm body: good luck scoring against  them.

That would be series to watch

Nah, I'm saying Spurs in their primes vs. this Warriors squad. That's like 18 years of Spurs vs. 1 year of Warriors.....this is so much more fun than talking about fantasy rankings.....

Dray can hold against current bigs when league is going small.     Can he do it against prime TD, who is  elite big men of all time?

Gotta remember, the Warriors match their elite offense with an equally elite defense. If you load up on defense and they hit the 3 ball with unlimited range, the score can get away from you in a hurry.

Dray is the #1 reason the league is going small. He took every traditional big man and neutralized them enough or exposed their small ball deficiencies enough for his team to exploit and make them a net negative for the opposing team. You don't get the name "death lineup" unless it is lethal.

Kawhi is a superior perimeter defender to Bowen and he's had how much luck? Duncan is an excellent all time defender, but interior bigs and the impact they have on team defense are completely neutralized by the way the Warriors play.

I'm old school all the way, but there is no team in NBA history that possessed anything close to the shooting ability these Warriors do. However, if we are just taking this Warriors team vs 18 years of Spurs, then the Spurs would get the advantage just due to depth. Take the all Warriors team, and it's just not enough offense from the Spurs.
