no reason on this earth simmons should be getting more mins than mario

magic have yet to give mario any legit shot after taking him in the top 5 like wtf did you take him for then

maybe the magic will continue this recent trend but they never do what common sense dictates

Remember when they traded away oladipo in order to keep fournier.

Yup this front office is a big joke. oladipo is probably the only good draft pick they made for a long time, and they gave up on him easily for scrubs, because they didn't want to pay him because he was inconsistent even if he showed star potential. They blamed him instead of blaming Scott Skiles who is one of the worst coaches for player development in recent memory

I feel like this guy is secretly one of the best stashes out there. Orlando absolutely sucks again, Fournier / Vuc are overrated and hurt you defensively, and the team clearly can benefit from an open youth movement featuring Payton (until they get a better PG - which they should), Hezonja, and AG. It's time for them to believe in Hezonja, they drafted him top 5, and he's clearly extremely talented (pretty much putting up outstanding lines any time he's getting 25 - 30+ min).

I think Fournier is as good as gone at this point, though as others have stated the Magic are a ridiculously poorly run franchise.

Stash Hezonja and don't look back.. he can be a real league winner for some teams if he continues this way.

This might be blasphemy, but watching his highlight vids the past two weeks he looks A LOT like a young Peja.. (and by no coincidence Skiles made the same comparison, and Peja himself has coached and advised Hezonja and said he'll be a star in the league). Here's to post-hype sleepers everyone!

The problem i see is that they might not care about him as the season progresses and everyone is healthy. They can only sign him with a one year deal on limited money so he is good as gone during summer. Especially now that he showed some promise there will be teams willing to give it a chance.

Giving him a big run doesn't benefit Orlando in any way.
