A QB who can’t throw and a WR who can’t catch. Not a good fit. A perfect fit.

Amari for me is the 2017 Gurley of WRs.   - Young incredible talent, freak of nature, pedigree coming out of college - Coming off a disaster year after a promising start to NFL career

A first rounder?? A Dallas first rounder no less?? That’s going to be a top-15 pick! The Raiders just fleeced the Cowboys.

Am I just in denial that Cooper isn't that good?

I've been telling people for years as someone who lives in the bay area and follows the 9ers and Raiders, Amari is not the player we all want him to be. He was drafted to be a Alpha receiver like AJ Green or AB but he doesnt have Alpha mentality, doesnt mean he wont have a long productive career but I cant ever see myself in the barbershop debating the best receivers playing today and his name getting brought up.

Last game was a huge game for Cooper’s ROS outlook in my opinion. It was a chance to establish himself as a WR2 and a more consistent receiver going forward. But he flopped and just can’t be trusted. He seems like he is the guy he was last year unfortunately. He’s a boom or bust guy that will probably be on your bench when he booms. Sunday was a sad day for Cooper owners.

I’m pretty upset I fell for him again, but looks like I’m on the same boat as many others.... the Titanic.

He was facing a great corner.  Bench him those games.

It's sad when you need to bench a #1 WR because he has a good corner covering him. It shows just how overrated Coop is. A true #1 doesn't need to be benched. He'd at least be getting mediocre fantasy points on bad days.

Yes, it's unfortunate - but how many WRs can we truly start no matter who is covering them?

AB

Julio

AJ Green

Mike Evans

Nuk

Michael Thomas

Anyone else?

Not really, but there are many that get more than 3+ points in PPR. Like yesterday, all I really needed from him was 10 points and he couldn't even give me that. Hell, give me 8 points. You are talking TE production from a supposed #1 WR.

Ok. Let me know what games I should start him.

Thanks.

Will do!  Numbers are subject to change:

Week 4 vs. CLE Sun 4:05pm   26.4 #13
Week 5 @ LAC Sun 4:05pm   28.1 #12
Week 6 vs. SEA Sun 1:00pm   28.5 #10
Week 8 vs. IND Sun 4:05pm   17.9 #26
Week 9 @ SF Thu 8:20pm   30.6 #8
Week 10 vs. LAC Sun 4:05pm   28.1 #12
Week 11 @ ARI Sun 4:05pm   18.4 #24
Week 12 @ BAL Sun 1:00pm   23.1 #19
Week 13 vs. KC Sun 4:05pm   32.9 #4
Week 14 vs. PIT Sun 8:20pm   31.1 #7
Week 15 @ CIN Sun 1:00pm   23.7 #18
Week 16 vs. DEN Mon 8:15pm   25.6 #15
Week 17 @ KC Sun 1:00pm   32.9 #4

Don't start him week 8, 11, 12, or 15.  Week 4 could be scary as the Browns have that good rookie CB.

So basically I only get to start this bozo 6 out of the 17 weeks he plays? Talk about value!!!

OBJ, Adams, Hill, Thielen/diggs, Gordon, Keenan, Hilton, landry, sanders, juju, golladay, Tate, Baldwin,, etc Cooper is not on their level as much as people hoped he would be. He has some monster games, but more duds

As bad as he was Sunday I’m not too worried. I’ve accepted what I feel he is. Certainly not a Wr1 nor even a 2 many weeks. He’s a matchup based start which obviously you don’t want out of a 3-4 rounder but it is what it is. The one saving grace he has is that he actually has the talent and has shown before he can win you a week if he hits.

Just gotta really digg deep with your research weekly to see if he’s worth taking the gamble on that week. Any time there is wind of a top db shadowing him easy fade

Trade just accepted by two owners in my league this morning. Cooper for Edelman straight up! Cooper just wants out I guess.....

I am buying in my other leagues, Chucky is going to see that the way to win will be chucking it all game long, Cooper will have no choice but to start catching 6-8 balls every single game ROS

The utilization is a head scratcher same as the games the Raiders have played. When you are 0-3 you have to start shaking things up to get a win.

I think I need to figure out  Gruden because he is still the least known variable in the  Carr+Amari equation. I really hope this offense doesnt turn into the same one his brother is running in DC where the wr's barely sniff the ball downfield.

Carr should look at Fitzmagic killing defenses with the deep ball and just let it fly
