Tough Keeper Situation (WHIR)

Hey guys. Getting back into baseball season and many of us will be making keeper decisions. I'm no different.

League settings:

12 team, 5 keeper (4 Years), H2H.

Categories: R, HR, RBI, SB, OBP, SLUG // IP, W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP

So I get to keep 5 as you see, and you can keep a guy for 4 years max. Here's the guys in the conversation for me (brackets are how many years they have including this upcoming year):

Locks:

Bellinger (3 years)

Sanchez (3 years)

Near Lock:

Bregman (3 years)

Trade?:

Donaldson (1 year)

Arenado (1 year)

Other strong options:

JD Martinez (1 year)

Yelich (2 years)

That's kind of my thought process. At the deadline last year I dealt my 1st (12th overall) for Arenado, so I'm currently in tough for the draft. That's why I was maybe thinking I go Bellinger, Sanchez, Bregman, Martinez, Arenado/Donaldson and deal one of Donaldson or Arenado for a draft pick (1st or 2nd) to get back to level in the draft. Obviously I'd look to deal Yelich if there was a buyer too.

What do you guys think about this situation? Do you agree with my thoughts? Leave your links below. Thanks.

See what deal you can get done to get a draft pick, but I'd be targeting Sanchez, Bellinger, Arenado, Bregman, and JDM as my five keepers. That's a pretty studly start to an offense. Is there anyone with weak keepers who you could pair Donaldson/Yelich to for a pick?

I think there are people that would have interest. Maybe I will shop both Arenado/Donaldson and compare the prices I could get for them. Lots of Jays fans in the league, but I am one myself so it's tough. Lol.

Yelich I should be able to sell the 2 year contract + the recent trade I'm hoping.

Not sure I'd get a better deal packaging them, I think I'm better off dealing them seperately.

Thanks guys!

True. Instead of selling my guys I'm not keeping for draft picks I'll lose them for nothing instead.

RUSH is a massive troll. do NOT listen to his advice.
