Anyone have any thoughts on the Milwaukee situation?

I think there is a really good chance that Hicks is way overrated.  Throws 102 mph but doesn't seem to miss bats.  His K per 9 numbers sucked in the minors.

1. He was starting in the minors.

2. He does have a GB rate near 80% so far to help compensate for the lack of strikeouts.

Barnes is better than Albers. More swing and miss stuff at least. Hader's going to get some save opps too if the Brewers starters can ever go like 7 innings with a lead.

Haters gotta hate. He got Ozuna and Carpenter, so pretty good

Carpenter hit the ball on the screws - just right at Cain.

Thanks, I won't be so quick to write him off.

What minor league stats? Lol.. all 2 season the guy had down there. Dude is sick with it. Throws flames and it moves.

Also, FYI I’m not calling for the end of Holland by any means, I just thought that comment was funny.

what kind of leash are we expecting for holland? two more blown saves ?

Based on what we saw today, he needs more time in the minors. he can easily blow the next few opportunities no problem.

I mean he has been in the league for a long time, no real excuse for this extraordinary poor control and complete lack of location. Look at his pitch map , guy basically missed all his pitches pretty much lol.

Job done and the manager trusts him, unlike Hader and Barnes.

I thought Albers looked decent, but I'm just trying to say that he didn't dominate them.
