absknicks 3,004
The only way for young LHH to improve against LHP is to let them play, take their lumps and improve. So many organizations limit their young LHH exposure to LHP and they never develop/improve as a result. It's good to see the Padres seem set on giving this guy consistent ABs regardless of the opposing pitcher.

If he continues to improve at the rate he's shown over the last calendar year they have a stud player.

I asked myself this same question...so I have both now. I would say Teoscar at this point, because he's been getting PT, but with Wil Myers turning into glass, the road rto PT for Cordero may not be as complicated as previously thought, especially with Margot's terrible year so far. Get both if you can, but if I didn't have room for both, I would keep Teoscar.
GriffeySwag 1,142
He's fast. Got a terrible jump and still easily beat out a throw by Posey to steal 2nd.

cyberer 1,914
1/3 with a B.B. vs a lefty. Not flashy but these types of games where he’s not hitting hrs but not golden sombreroing are going to be key for him so I hope he keeps it up.

cyberer 1,914
Don’t look now but piriela has started at 2b 3 games in a row (and appeared at 2b in 5 straight). Padres moving mountains to keep this kid playing. Asuaje is a bum anyway I never saw how Pirielas defense was that’s bad.
Flyman75 5,081
It seems like Teoscar gets all the love on RW right now, but Franchy is having a great season in his own right. Teoscar is hitting .268-15-4-11-3 in 82 ABs (.224-10-3-5-2 over the last two weeks). Franchy is hitting .260-11-6-13-3 in 73 ABs (.310-7-4-9-1 over the last two weeks). Franchy has been hotter over the last couple of weeks, but they've been comparable over the first 19 games of their 2018 seasons.

Dirtywater97 1,074
Yeah, if you have him a keeper or dynasty you have to be ecstatic. To show so much progress this year is really encouraging. It's scary to think what he could be a couple years down the road with the tools he possesses.
