That O-line is so terrible that Barkley will go 20 carries for 50 yards, but because he is such a talent he'll add another 4-5 carries for 50 yards....so it should all work out. Just like how most RB's play.

Where dem haters at?

They are quite busy dissecting his 3 yard loss as proof he’s not a generational talent and disregarding the fact he took a no gain / loss for ~40 yards while breaking 3 pairs of ankles along the way ... oh wait, that means he’s “boom or bust” now

Yea that's why I said he'll have 4-5 carries where he gains like 50 yards despite the o-line's issues. Barkley will bust some big ones.

I think Barkley will be a stud. But I always giggle at the overreaction to preseason. Was he even running against starters? I remember last year Abdullah ripped off a really nice run early in preseason and slacks were ruined all across rotoland.

Barkley has always been a better pass catcher than runner.  He needs to learn the patience of Bell.

The run wasn’t bad, he didn’t just break it outside.  And, he did find the hole...

I’m not going to read to much into the preseason.  I still need to see more to make him a 1st round fantasy pick.

Remember the hype after this play?

People kind of forget the defenses in preseason is running different personnell on every play and guys are still learning the language of what to do as they read the offense and unlike offenses they take a bit more time to learn about, gel and trust each other.

Unless someone looks really bad (Davis Webb), I don't take much out of the preseason. Anyone can look good against the 3rd team.

Barkley is a legit stud, that is a fact there is nothing to left to discuss. If you disagree go get your eyes checked. He will be a great running back.

I agree but he still has to do it.

NY Post (oops)

The size, the arm, the smarts, it is all there with Davis Webb. Is he good enough to be a reliable backup, for now, and a capable starter in the future? How he performs in these games will give the Giants more of the answers they need.

The guy's talent is on par with the Juice.  All he has to do is show up and he'll smash records.

I dont think thats an issue. Whether its a good idea to pick him over Hopkins, Fournette, Gordon, ODB etc is another question.
