Parker getting set before the pitch...

This is the laziness that frustrates many of us, and just adds to a thread that is already difficult for many people to read through. It’s only 2 pages, and question was asked and answered one page be

Watson in for the 8th with a 3 run lead. Looks like Melancon is in line for the save.

I forgot about Dyson. FWIW he’s in with a 4 run lead. Does anyone know if melancon was warming up?

Bear Claw -- Pretty crazy the guy has allowed a total of 1 Baserunner (a walk) in all of June!!

Hoping he cracks 20 saves this season

Doubtful.  Pretty likely he gets traded.

More clown shoes Giants defense with Dyson on the mound, though.  Popup to shallow center field and Gorkys Hernandez lets Brandon Crawford take it and he can't get to the ball, which drops to the ground for a two-run single.  Then a slow-roller is hit to Crawford and he throws it in the dirt to Belt, who can't come up with an easy one-hop.

Dolittle?

Treinen’s been absurdly good I think he belongs up there

4 Saves? Kapler managing? Wee bit early on the Dominguez Koolaid.

It’s Dyson. Bad pitching vibes emanate to the D.

He hasn’t looked the same since the injury last year.  I know he may be rusty, but He just doesn’t look good.  That control he once had is gone.   Being on the bad orioles and possibly being dealt to where he won’t close makes him a tough buy now.  He flashed elite skills not long ago, so maybe he can get it together.

Think what you want... He’s the closer you will find out soon

Seven different pitchers have gotten a save for Philly so far this year. If you think any one of them is “the” closer then you are going to be disappointed with their save totals ROS.

Is Marky Mark Melancon the closer based on today's usage and Dyson's suck ( pun intended)?
