mas10 277
Who cares my fantasy team will lose in every game he’s not polling for me. I just need him to stay alive this season.

Before today's visit to the specialist, it was said that it would be worse if he had a fracture and he'd be out twice as long. Now we find out that he indeed has a fracture, but his timetable is actually potentially better than it would have been even if he still just had a sprain. I realize it's pretty much the best case scenario in regards to the type of fracture he has, and obviously any kind of good news in regards to his return is great, but I'm still a little shocked/confused. Oh well. Come back soon, AD. That's my point.... They were saying a fracture would be worse - which he has - but it's actually the best case scenario for a speedy recovery lol
Quazza 2,353
"volar plate avulsion fracture" So AD

The injury is technically a fracture, because a small piece of bone did break off. Think of it like this mug: Is the mug broken? Uh sure, I guess it is, can you drink out of it? Yes of course. It's like calling a bruise "muscle tissue damage" or a cramp "muscle fatigue due to overuse". When you make it sound technical, it always sounds more serious. Truth be told, AD just had a sprained finger I love your posts dude!

Brandayz 315
So are you guys scared of his ROS outlook or should we try trade for him while his value is a little bit lower than normal?
claptondecheeks 1,007
You can try but you'll have to pry him from my cold dead hands. AD is my golden ticket.

Yeah but I'm not gonna accept anything but top value. 1) Even if I lost every week he was out, I'd still make the playoffs. 2) I'm still winning, even with AD and Drummond missing games. I'm happy to ride it out. I'm not even sure I'd take Harden straight up bc AD is like this always, while Harden will go down once the Rockets get healthy. Plus, in a deep league like mine, it's way harder to find even medium production at C.

jjbooda 325
I believe that the Pels will wait to allow the Celtics who have the most to offer the opportunity to offer the best package. I can’t see them rushing this to the detriment of the franchise. What this will do is have him linger on returning from injury.

ellejamil 839
Here we go. Boston or LA, depending on where Pelicans want to go. If rebuild, better off with Celtics' plethora of first round picks + Jaylen Brown/Hayward.
