That's what people are saying. His threes have hovered around three a game for years now, but that's gotten less and less valuable so his ranking has dropped. https://basketballmonster.com/PlayerInfo.aspx?i=3399 Look at that Z score plummet. And yet he's still ranked pretty high with the a** fg% and not being able to rely on threes. So it's possible that some of us are hoping its' the other categories that continue improving. Who knows how Boogie will affect this team, maybe he can gamble more, maybe more assists...better looks.

If you think he's gonna get better/produce better, to the point that he's top 40, okay. I disagree but that's fine. But if you're saying he'll go back to doing what he's always done and that's good enough for for top 40, that's not true. What used to be good enough for that no longer is (when it comes to being buoyed by threes). He's obviously better than what he's been showing these last two months, though. Hopefully that was his last major slump of the season. Thx Klay, for being a top 40 player, doing what you always do, and then some.
Cdub2k 1,259
Man I watched this game on NBA TV and man when Klay has his shot going it is really a thing of beauty.

RafiBomb 292
Just traded Ariza for this guy and i am wondering if anyone is worried Boogie will cause this guy to take a hit in value?
claptondecheeks 1,008
Ariza is nice and Klay has let owners down but dang. Klay's owner must've had a extreme view on both.
jay14bay 861
Interesting season so far for Klay. Besides a few games with massive 3 pt outbursts, he hasn't been shooting that well. His 45% fg is his lowest in 5 years and his 36% from three is the lowest of his career - he has never been below 40%. But his Pts, Reb, and Stl are all up from last season and his FGA are at a career high. The biggest impact on his "ranking" of 28 in 9-cat (although I don't like using rankings much) is an almost 0.5 spg increase from last year. We all knew he was always a good defender, it's great to finally see him getting some more steals as a result.

geork7 1
Better spacing and movement with Boogie on the roster -> more chances for Klay to shine. Sell high season approaching? (due to bad po schedule)

Quazza 2,353
Dude is tough. Has played through some pretty nasty injuries in the past (playoffs more so ) so this makes me think maybe it's a little worse than is being let on
Lebronisgod 1
In a real sticky situation my playoffs start next week and I have Ad with a back to back and Klay only playing 2 possibly sitting one with the injury ,should I consider dropping him for another 3pt specialist? I can't afford to have two players only playing 2 games
