Def not popovich rested him for the grizzlies game JUST to showcase D White against WestBrook and the OKc thunder. He gave em the sauce and won the game but the thunder roughed him up pretty good. He’s a solid lock ROS

chud12 4,076
Guessing he is in Pop's doghouse for bad defense or something, anyone watching the game know why White only played 9 minutes?? And he barely played in the first with 1 foul so its not because of foul trouble.

jehob 662
Spurs got blown out from the opening tip (down 20-4 to start the game), so the reserves probably came in early and probably were the ones that mounted the comeback
chud12 4,076
Ok so he is def in the doghouse, might finish with 16 minutes and no foul trouble. Really odd Pop went away from White all game.

JormaJormala 747
Lots of excuses flowing around. He just served the weak sauce tonight. As in on the par with expectations. Players go on hot streaks, it happens. And then they fizzle out. ...And there is one truth in fantasy bball that you can live by: Never trust Popo! El_Chingon 1,810
Too many mouths to feed and in the doghouse and the ride is over and time to drop for a hot free agent.

richg24 1,773
Gay will be injured on and off all season. White will get hot again.. at the least hold for another full week before doing anything dumb. He has earned a decent leash.

chud12 4,076
Really Patty Mills hurt White last night. Pop credited Mills after the game saying the quote below. This is aimed directly at White because he took the hit in the first half playing 8 non foul prone minutes. He got Popped last night like many of us speculated. Hopefully White brings it going forward. “He was the one guy that started us being more competitive," Pop said. "He got in passing lanes. He was the first guy that wasn't just following them around." His minutes and production have nothing to do with Gay. His production does. If Gay averages 20 ppg then you can bet anything White is not going to average 15. You are misinformed. Easy example: He (Curry) is a point guard, Durant is a forward. His (Durants) minutes and production have nothing to do with Curry. There is your same statement but see how wrong it sounds now? Check Curry numbers when Durant is out and Durant numbers when Curry is out. Look at the difference. Edited January 17, 2019 by richg24

He had Doncic to cover and was getting beat, this is honestly attest to how good Luka Doncic really is and earned my respect. But anyway back to D white, he was basically getting burnt and put a bigger defender out there without Dennis Smith . Every spur player had a bad night if u see the box score. Only 1 game should be fine Edited January 18, 2019 by CityBaller8
