Very confused on what to trade for him or if he’s even worth trading for

Bell-trade nothing for him in redraft, as he will not be playing in 2018.  If you have Bell and can move him for a usable piece, do so now, without delay.

So the deadline has passed, Leveon still on the Steelers.  Timeshare coming with Jimmy Conner?

They could just deactivate him every week, doubt they’ll do that though.

As stated a few days ago, we're entering the interesting window.

If he really wants the money and wants to play in 2018 as he said, he reports tomorrow. Even if they roster-exempt him, that still gives him 7 game checks.

If he really wants money but wants to play as little as possible, he reports Nov 13 and *hopes* the Steelers inactivate him every week. Quite a gamble.

If he's given up on this year, he doesn't sign by Nov 13. Based on the recent things we've seen, it looks like the Steelers would have to use the "QB salary" tag on him if they wanted him next year, so he can stay away and still get his FA option.

Either way, we've now got 391 hours and 15 minutes, maximum, until we know.

He's probably weeks away from a lead role. He's days away from ruining Conner's value.

Don't think he will be active until Jax at the earliest, and who knows if he will have any role at all...

So he’s not worth anything in standard? Feel like there’s still a good chance they run him into the ground when he comes back to keep conner fresh for next year

The idea that Le'Veon is going to come back and be run into the ground to preserve Conner for the future is ridiculously far-fetched.

Conner isn't going away at this point.

Best case scenario for Bell owners is a timeshare with Conner/Conner gets injured.

Isn't there a chance that he signs but he doesn't end up playing at all?  Everyone is assuming here (and I can understand) that signing == playing.  But can the Steelers choose to not run him at all (put on the PUP and avoid any potential morale headaches)(perhaps it's too much $$$ to not play him).  Conversely, can Bell sign and simply refuse to play (i.e., fake an injury or something).  I'm just curious about the all the outcomes and I'm not insinuating one over another..
