So um, what do we make of his absolutely ridiculous home/away splits?

1.606OPS at home with 19HR vs .844OPS with 5HR away from Miller Park.

That it's a good thing he's a Brewer for the next three years at minimum.

1. Miller Park is an excellent place to mash taters.

2. Yelich will play about half of his remaining games in MIller Park.

3. Ergo, Yelich will mash many more taters.

In all seriousness -- we're only talking about 30-35 game samples for his home and road splits.  My guess is the two converge over the course of the season toward something more like last season when he hit about 38% of his homers on the road instead of the ~20% so far.

figured sooner rather than later Yelich would pass Bellinger as the number one rated player this season.

good call he almost has him beat in average now.

Why?  Being sandwiched in between a Gamel - Cain sandwich not good enough?  Lol, it’s amazing he gets a single pitch to hit.

#1 over Trout next year ?

I dont know Trouts having a hell of a year as well. Could be a matter of taste type thing. 1.Trout 1A.Yelich  3.Bellinger 4.Acuna   Though I guess with the wheels Yelich should be the 1st pick. Trouts been good so long that I think alot of people may still prefer him.

removed from game. knee.

Christian Yelich was lifted from Tuesday night's game against the Marlins due to an apparent knee injury.

Advice: Yelich fouled a ball off his right knee in the top of the first inning and was on the ground for a few minutes before eventually climbing to his feet and walking off with a limp but no assistance from the Brewers' training staff. Trent Grisham finished off the at-bat and then replaced Yelich in right field. There should be an update soon on the reigning National League MVP.
