Souza Jr already won it when he tore every single connected ligament and fiber running in a straight line.

This guys such a joke lol. He's either hurt or batting .212, next Arod lol? Get tfoh haha

3-4 weeks turned out to be 60 days.  Believe 6 weeks was long end.  Noting this for next year, not hating on him.  Good talent, but wouldn’t touch him with a 10 foot pole.  He doesn’t ever heal.  Everything turns into massive drama with every ailment.

I need that tattooed on my arm at next years draft.  This is one of those guys that I’m just always overly excited about, and I can’t explain why.

It’s not only the slow healing, it’s also the fact that he’s missed 2 months from a massage.

Yep, I have to agree. He’ll be firmly planted on my do not draft list going forward. Without the steals, the upside isn’t worth the headache.

  • 2 weeks later...

Expected back tomorrow?  Maybe? Wow, that was quite a long “precautionary” measure.  Seems like everyone forgot about him.  Roto world doesnt even  have a red blurb.

Like @meh2 said, the upside isn’t worth all the injury drama.

He’s obviously  a good player but he’s missed 50+ games now for three years in a row. Plus he doesn’t run at all anymore.

With SS having lots of players that can largely do what he does without the injury risk, I can’t imagine drafting him or even wanting to keep him in keeper leagues.

Agree wholeheartedly.   I always hope to get him at a massive discount with the possibility he stays healthy.  The discount never happens.

You really can't imagine wanting to keep him? He'll be just 25 on 9/22. The .300/30/100 ceiling is still very much in play.

Given his consistent injuries and that he doesn’t run, plus the depth at SS, I wouldn’t *want* to keep him.

He could absolutely hit those numbers, but he’s not a train I want to be on.
