Whoa. Easy with the language.

You're lucky I'm not active this year.  This is some of the most useless analysis I've seen and would normally tear it apart a lot more than I'm about to. Bell is the best back in the league.  Un

Apparently Jets are trying to trade Bell? Wth?

So much for that schedule.

The source is Manish Mehta, but it makes sense.  I think I posted the same thing in the trade deadline thread a few days ago.

Well dang. I really screwed myself trading for him. 😂 But hopefully a better team with a better O-Line. I honestly think this may end up being a good thing.

Can someone explain why they would want to trade him?

Probably because they are in no position to compete now, and could potentially get a pick or two back. Strange given that they just signed him, but I somewhat understand the logic.

1) the Stillers acquire Mariota today from Titans

2) then bring home Bell

3) then sign AB

.... and still go 6-10

Mariota is no better than Rudolph tbh. Your team is usually only as good as your QB (see: Bears)

Considering Gase was exposed saying he didn’t want him in the first place, then had to make nice, this makes a little sense. What would make more sense is to get rid of Gase.

Adapted a bit from what I posted last week:

http://forums.rotoworld.com/topic/771079-trade-deadline-targets/?do=findComment&comment=8824067

A key thing to remember is the Jets GM came in after free agency.

If the Jets wanted to go full tank mode, they could find a way to IR Darnold (that Toe injury is bad! (or now the thumb), and trade away the players that will leave in free agency next year that may have some value to teams this year (Leonard Williams, Robby Anderson, LT Kelvin Beachum, RT Brandon Shell ).

If they really wanted to go nuts they could trade away Le'Veon Bell.  The team getting Bell would acquire him for a minimal cap hit this year, and an "out" after 2020.  The Jets would free more cap room for next year.
