I will have to defer to @DerrickHenrysCleats who knows more about College and who also is quite a fan of Dion Lewis I think, so he may know more here. My thoughts on Barnes, who I took in the 7th round of a 14 team dynasty start 20 with full IDP league: 7.04 Alex Barnes, RB, TENTalk about getting drafted into bad spot. It’s going to take at least one injury for Barnes to see the field beyond STs for at least a year or two. But he’s got some decent talent, a very well rounded game, and is a very good athlete so I’m figuring he’ll stick on the roster and then will have to bide his time waiting for an opportunity. His game is more of a jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none and he is going to have to lose his annoying occasional hesitating while the blocking sets up when plays are designed to hit quick and have the hole open as the RB arrives. But patience while pressing the LoS is one thing he does possess, which seems to be harder for young RBs to learn. Big, strong, fast enough, uses his blockers well, he’s a good understudy for Henry. He ought to be able to eventually play in the NFL, but who knows how many touches he’ll be able to earn - maybe very few in his career. Some RB on the roster may always look just a little better than him. But the talent/size/ability/mindset is there for him to surprise if a spot opens. 2

sjm76 769
Henry was a rb2 target for me but not anymore with this news. Hopefully he isn't out long because he really came on at the end of last year.
Stonej14 667
Believe it or not the Henry bad luck lately is actually good news. Hes going to plummet down the draft boards and most of us believers can get him for a fraction of the price. Maybe if we're real lucky he can tear his ACL and he'll be next to free.

He would still be called a top 10 RB by some with claims that he has the healing power of deadpool.

BMcP 8,611
I have no clue whether this is a more serious injury, and no reason to believe Vrabel is the sort to lie about injuries - but is it customary to wear a boot if you have a calf strain?

Apparently yes about a walking boot for calf strain. Not uncommon. Edited July 30, 2019 by K197040
Moonstar81 53
Probably just being super cautious with a guy they plan to give a heavy workload to this year. By season start he should be 100% ready to go.
