Recent developments in AB's employment status, along with the continued inability of some users to keep their comments within the site guidelines, have forced us to lock this thread yet again.  If circumstances warrant, we will reopen.

Here comes the "Hindsight" posts... like clockwork LOL!

No these are definitely not the "hindsight" posts.

These are the "I told you so but you didn't listen" posts.

Plus, they just signed the dude.  To give up now would be an open admission that they made a huge mistake in signing him in the first place.  They would face massive criticism for that.

Kind of a no win situation for them here.

Almost like the Raiders are the only team stupid enough to make the deal for Antonio!

Suspended 1 series

Or one quarter...it's possible.  Could be 4 games though.  Neither would surpise me.  This guy got rich and went completely insane.  Unfortunately for Brown owners, it's not just "antics." He's not right. I figured there could be a problem with Gruden at some point because I remember how Gruden shut down Keyshawn back in the day when he was getting out of control.  But for this to happen right before the start of the season and following just numerous weird incidents and comments from Brown... It just doesn't look good for his outlook.

Ya can't sell for pennies on the dollar so owners just have to wait it out, let him have a great game and consider shipping him while you still can.

It would be kind of ironic for the Raiders to cut bait on a player because of an attitude problem.  I thought the Raiders was where all attitude problems have a home.

sure, back in the Al Davis days, yes ... and if a player ever pulled this chit on Al he'd wind up in a car trunk heading straight for Bakersfield.

Yeah...my opinion is "misinformation".  Can you show me anywhere in the past where a player was suspended for a quarter?

Maybe it's happened.  I can't remember it.   The connotation of suspension to me is that he wouldn't even be allowed to be with the team for that quarter.

2013, Johnny Manziel suspended a half for selling autographs.

Has to be at least a game or the Raiders are a joke.  You can't go after the GM like that, you just can't.  Probably should have been fined/suspended after the Instagram post.

It's the Raiders, we're talking about.  Even if Brown started strangling the GM, he would likely get a couple game suspension max.  I'm sure the Raiders brass knows what they're getting into when signing the headcases that they've been signing for years.
