The Buccaneers hate children.

"Hey OJ, keep dropping those passes. We have them right where we want them. You saw what we did with AB right? We got him off of the Raiders but he had some screws loose. I know you will turn out bett

Tampa should trade OJ Howard to the Chargers for Melvin Gordon.

I'm not buying.

He looked pretty good in the game. However, neither TB TE is featured or has plays designed for them to be run first at the LOS. They are check downs or simply last gasp progression throws. It's a dart throw with these two and who knows, Brate could get lucky next week.

Saw some references on Twitter to an OJ Howard "blow up game."  When I checked the box score, I saw he caught four balls for 47 yards and fell into the end zone.

How far the expectations have fallen for this 5th round pick.

LOL he was the 5th highest scoring TE this week in my .5 PPR league, 4 catches for 47 yards and a touch works as a "blow up game" not just for OJ but for TEs writ large this year.

Yeah, it was disconcerting that OJ didn't throw the ball to himself at least 1 time in the second half of the game.

Expectations are tough to live up to.

For example, I was expecting You to perform better in WLAB.

They’ve been solid against TEs this season... No one knows what to expect.

Was the Cardinals game a product of the matchup, or are they actually going to get him involved? Hard to say. 🤷🏻‍♂️

We all know the answer........ the cardinals made TJ Hock look like a TE1

I saw he game and OJ looked like a man against boys. The only problem is he hardly gets looked at let alone thrown to. There’s got to be something behind the scenes as to why Jamis hates him.

Jameis doesn’t hate him, he threw to him last year. It’s Arians’ system.

That’s why Belicheck is the goat. He develops his game plan to his players strengths and opponents weaknesses.

Bruce has a game plan that doesn’t include getting his monster TE involved.

Agreed. I heard an analyst earlier in the season (can’t remember who) discuss this as being a reason he wasn’t a fan of Arians as an offensive mind. He said the best coaches tailor systems that play to their players’ strengths, while most try to fit the players into their systems.  He said Arians falls firmly in the latter category.

Why is no one stating the obvious?

Arians+leftwich believe OJ is a better blocker than he is a pass catcher.

Evans+Godwin  makes OJ's recieveing skills redundant in the offense 🤣

I thought OJ was running a bunch of routes. The TE is probably the 5th option on any pass play though.

Another example is how Arians insists on throwing the ball deep.  When he has a bad offensive line, his QB gets killed.

I just grabbed him in a trade (hooper injury facilitated it)...Saints gave up some points to Hooper before he went down last week. I am a little worried that with Lattimore out everything will go back to flowing thru Godwin and Evans though, as well as Saints DEs ability to wreck OTs will mean he is blocking a bunch. At least it projects to be a shoot-out and Howard played 82-83 snaps last week in his little breakthrough game.

This guy is absolute trash. His catch that he basically gave to the Saints was laughable. The fact he has 82 pages is sad.

But he’s a physical freak, see. That’s all you need to be an every week starter at the position. Who cares if he makes you lose. He’s a physical freak. So rest easy, because you got yourself a physical freak in your lineup. Physical. Freak. Set and forget. About your playoff hopes.
