O.J. Howard 2019 Outlook

OJ had 8 targets last week and Brate had 7 targets. Why do you think he gets MORE targets? 😂

Winston distributed the ball to 11 different players last game.

8 pts on 8 targets is terrible, it's not more targets you want but more production from the targets

Just lost 2 more receivers, Scottie Miller and Chris Godwin.

Should his targets go down?

The Buccaneers hate children.

"Hey OJ, keep dropping those passes. We have them right where we want them. You saw what we did with AB right? We got him off of the Raiders but he had some screws loose. I know you will turn out bett

Tampa should trade OJ Howard to the Chargers for Melvin Gordon.

Why would they go up when he had 8 in a blowout game where Winston was throwing every other down? Arians even said in his presser they will look at the rb group being more involved.

Godwin averaged 8.5 tgts per game and Evans 9 which sounds like it could be the right level for OJ if he is heavily involved

Do you really think OJ is going to have an Evans type monster game of 17 targets? i guess the hope never died with this guy 😂

8 targets last week and now Godwin is out, Miller gone.

I'd say he's a start unless you have a top 6-8 option already.

8 targets are more than enough to make a TE fantasy relevant. I doubt he gets more than that and the concern is does Brate get the juicy redzone/td looks😝

OJ can take it to the house from outside the redzone 😋

I’m taking a dart on him as a cheap DFS option. Last 3 games has a healthy target share.

This is the week 16 league winner folks. I’m so confident e will ball out that I’m FLEXING HIM (Jared cook my TE) over studs like Odell and coop cuck.

THis time the glove does fit OJ. CANT CATCH THE JUICE MAN.

I'd say he's a start unless you have someone with 2 arms  2 legs, and is breathing

I agree

Brate the spoiler as usual is not going away  🤣

Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston had a message for tight ends O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate as the Buccaneers prepared for their Saturday game against the Houston Texans.

“I talked to O.J. and Cam this week,” Winston said. “I’m like, ‘Hey, y’all going to get the rock.’ And they’re excited.”

Should be plenty to go around for both TE.

This quote is gonna make me a huge Jameis fan if Howard balls out. Flipped w/ Higbee.

I have them both and I am playing Hollister over him

I am going the other way with it.  Have Hollister and OJ but playing OJ.  More opportunities opening up for OJ in what projects to be a high scoring game against a defense that's been the 2nd worst in fantasy points vs TEs the last 5 weeks (only NYG have been worse).  Hollister had his highest usage when Lockett wasn't quite himself, and now he appears to be back into form.  Hollister does benefit ever so slightly from losing Josh Gordon, but Luke Willson is going to be back this game too.  It's not an easy decision but thats where my instincts are pointing me.

Matchup Rating (12/21 Hou)

O.J. Howard has 7 receptions of 20+ yards over his past eight games (Rank: tied for 5th most in NFL among TEs). The Texans have allowed 9 receptions of 20+ yards to TEs over that same stretch (Rank: 2nd most).

Week 16 vs. Houston

Houston has given up the 6th most fantasy points to Tight Ends this season.

Tough decision but signs pointing towards OJ being a solid play.
