It's ironic that after months of discussing, debating McCoy, Dam. Williams, Dar. Williams, and Thompson that the most valuable Chiefs RB turned out to be Hyde.

If McCoy comes to chiefs and pushes Williams out, I am not drafting next year until about 20 minutes before the season begins

What a fluke 91 yd TD. Was going up against him, couldnt believe my eyes. He is still bad.

Hes housed several TDs going back to last season.

On a different note. it was fun watching Reek catch up to him and push (escort) him into the endzone, LOL!!!

That. Was. Awesome. ✌️

Hill reached a top speed on that run of 22.6 mph, per Next Gen Stats, the fastest of his NFL career.

Not only should his performance yesterday propel Damien to a larger share of the backfield, but I believe he’s considered a plus pass protector.  Protecting Mahomes is going to be a bigger priority than ever.

Great point. McCoy lost snaps earlier in the season due to his poor pass protection.

Dude is on the waivers, burning my #1 claim

What a mess this backfield has been, hopefully things clear up now and it’s easier to figure out who is getting the carries each week. Glad I didn’t drop DWill or McCoy yet, but also glad I’m not forced to use either.

I hate when people look at RB stats and remove their best run to justify saying they are bad RBs. All RBs break off big runs.. that builds their stats.

I am not going to pretend I know how this backfield is going to pan out, but i think KC looks better offensively when they use one RB rather than a 3 RB committee. Damien can be that guy. I don't think McCoy can anymore.

I say this expecting next week, McCoy will outsnap Damien and he will get 1 carry for 3 yards and 1 target. But you can't drop Damien on the offchance he has finally been given the full job back.

So has McCoy lost the job permanently?  I didn't see the game.  While I always felt McCoy was the better back, and he proved it until he fumbled the job away, I really just want one of these guys to take over.

I'd love to put Damien in my lineup but I'd like some confidence that it wasn't just a 1 week punishment for McCoy and now we're back in limbo.

Im benching him 1 more week.  If damien gets the lion share again, ill have more confidence starting him moving forward.  Damien looks to be fully healthy now tho.  His runs and cuts look much more decisive than when he first returned from injury.

LeSean McCoy? Damien Williams? Here’s how the Chiefs will split up rushing attempts

BY SAM MCDOWELL

NOVEMBER 05, 2019

The best day of his season telegraphed Chiefs coach Andy Reid’s approach to his backfield. In the past. And for the foreseeable future.

Ride the hot hand.

“We’re lucky that we have some guys, and they all played — and we’ll keep that up,” Reid said. “We’re going to need all of them. That’s a tough position, and I thought (Williams) did good in there. We kept giving it to him, and that’s how it rolls.”

Same. I've been holding onto it for most of the year and he has as much upside as anyone if he can make this job his
