Well the only clarity is that we all know Robertson won’t be getting any saves soon 😂

Im holding Neris and Dominguez as they are bound to get an opportunity in a committee but it’s hard to hold two RPs if you don’t have many roster spots.

Here is the full Rotoworld blurb for David Robertson:

Quote

Phillies placed RHP David Robertson on the 10-day injured list with right elbow soreness.

This elbow issue might help explain some of Robertson's early-season struggles. He hits the IL having registered a 5.40 ERA, 2.10 WHIP, and 6/6 K/BB ratio through 6 2/3 innings this year, though he did pitch two scoreless frames Sunday afternoon in Miami. Look for Phillies manager Gabe Kapler to continue mixing and matching when it comes to save opportunities. Pat Neshek, Hector Neris, and Jose Alvarez have all seen ninth-inning action over the last week-plus. Robertson is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Tuesday and there should be a more exact diagnosis (and hopefully a recovery timetable) announced soon thereafter.

He should have stayed listed as Dave Robertson instead.  He was pretty good when he was still just Dave.  Just sayin'.

Also don't sleep on Victor Arano.  He had 13 saves last year and just got called up a few days ago so will be in the mix for saves sooner than later now.

He must be yelling ‘ball’ before he throws each pitch.

In 2017 he gave up 2HR once and never 3. In 2018 he never gave up more than 1. Guess we have different definitions of "very prone".

It's extremely clear. You're just confusing what you want with what it is. It's a committee approach. This is as clear as anything in baseball.

Has Kapler said it was a committee? If not then it’s not clear. Maybe it’s a competition until someone emerges.

Kapler is a match-ups guy. Its possible someone emerges as the guy, but he's not going to force it. He views each match-up as unique based on splits, situations, etc.

Awesome, reduce that 25% save chance to 20% now that we have a 5th contender.

Arano had 3 saves last year...not 13.

Jeffress looks like hell be activated tomorrow correct? Any news on his recovery?

he was knocked around pretty good but in San Antonio but that wasn't surprising given the lack of spring training work.  He pitched in back to back games at one point last week so that was a hurdle he had to cross.  I am holding but very much doubt last year's numbers...

Hildenberget warming up with 0 out in 8th.

He likely only got the save the last time because Parker struggled so badly with his command.  It should take more than that for the door to open for Hildenberger.

Why is Biagini getting the save Opp for Toronto?

I guess Buck Martinez mentioned Giles had a sore back and was treating it with a heating pad. No clue on severity.

Just saw on Twitter that the Blue Jays manager said Giles was sick. So doesn’t sound like any kind of injury.
