Adbert Alzolay (AAA/CHC)- 5IP 6H 2ER 1BB 8K...is he the unofficial #6 in cubs rotation??

He’s turned this on out of nowhere this year. He definitely should be up very soon but where’s the room? It’s going to take an injury.

My guess is he stays down until maybe lately July or even August then the Cubs use him as a pen arm the rest of the year. However, in 2020 he's the most likely to take the  #5 spot after Hamels leaves in FA.

Luis Garcia, SS, WAS (AA): 4-5, 2B, RBI. Now batting .324/.351/.359 over his last 10 games with only 1 double, no HR. Two walks and 8Ks in that period. He hasn't homered all year and has hit only 5 doubles. I guess it helps to remember he's just turned 19 and has been in AA all year.

Jose Soriano, SP, LAA (A): 4.1IP, 2H, 0ER, 2BB, 5K

all 3 guys in doubleheaders

Adell 4-7 1 2B, 1HR

Robert 1-8 1 HR

Wander Franco 2-6 2 singles and a BB

For the Adell update.. I think it’s nice to add that he also scored 6 runs, had 4 RBI’s and stole 3 bases in that 4-7 double header. Monster
