It counts, but he will falls into oblivion against all the other for this year so enjoy that small outburst once in a blue moon

Long story short, it counts. Please reach out to your league manager if you think it shouldn't.

[Enough with the fat jokes and incessant bickering. All of it is juvenile and none of it is clever. Move along.]

I look forward to quoting the terrible Vlad takes for years to come.

Don’t know much about him.   He any good?

It counts for THAT game and he will still suck the rest of the way but keep holding on to him based on the name and roster him against AAA pitchers like Detroit and Baltimore, hes good against AAA who can't locate

Can't win any league with a guy on a garbage team who struggle against 90 % of mlb rotation

You do realize that Gleyber Torres is adored and over half of his HR’s are against Baltimore, and Devers has hit half of his HR’s against just Baltimore and Toronto.

I know you’re trolling, but the point had to be made.

Yeah but Devers doesn't complain every close pitch strike like he is an entitled baby

And they hit multiple homers agaisnt Gas Can team ... Not 1

He can't even bend at 3rd base on a ground ball I think he has 10 errors at 3rd base already he is a complete trainweck [...]

There's always that sweet spot in a prospect's arc when the trolls start to disappear. Not saying Vlad's there yet, and everybody knock wood when you read this. But it smells like the day might be approaching. Can't come a minute too soon.

(Note to fans: everybody feasts on s*** pitching. Nobody hits the studs with consistency.)

Shockingly, it appears the 20 year old prospect phenom was not, in fact, finished.

Fake news. The kid had a rough stretch. He’s a bust. Sources told me.

Seriously though, his swing is awesome to watch. He’s swinging with confidence lately and it’s beautiful.

Waitwaitwait, are you telling me that those who jumped to conclusions and wrote him off based on a small sample were wrong?! Hogwash. Next you'll tell me that Jose Ramirez isn't Mario Mendoza 2.0 and that trading him for Derek Dietrich isn't a good idea.

As a registered dietician and analyzing things like his appearance over time in the minors and majors, gait while walking, etc it seems clear there’s evidence of acromegaly, either natural or synthetic.  Hope the call up of Bichette helps motivate him to turn that pretty swing into real output as it does look like ownership is challenging him to step it up.

Well Andre the Giant had acromegaly and that didn't stop him from having a great career!

Last 9 games...

14/34 7R 2 HR 12 RBI 4BB - 411/473/676/1.149

A strong finish would make up for a lot of benched weeks.

I'm sure a lot of us are grumbling about most of those numbers coming from a BN spot. That said, it's good news going forward if he's settled in and can even be a top 75 guy the last couple months.

Sat him for the first time all year.

Goes 3-5 and looks like he just missed a granny.

The breakout starts today.

The hero is vitamin D.  Another day in the wonderful KC Sunshine ☀️ and another big game.  Vlad could be a guy who starts slow and heats up with the weather/fresh air.  I’ll be charting this next year.  Good to see him trending in right direction.  Blue Jays becoming fun to watch.
