DerrickHenrysCleats 6,028
Drafted by the raiders after Marshawn Lynch retired. Jacobs is a good pass catcher, tough runner and a good pass catcher so I expect him to carve out a good role with the raiders. He is one of those late round fantasy picks that could pay dividends after the depth chart shakes out some For Dynasty leagues he is worthy of a 1st round pick. He has a lot of Mark Ingram type skills.

Lol, meant pass blocker, he understands the assignments and does a good job at it which will allow him to get on the field faster.
joshua18 7,029
Hoping he gets hyped to the 1.01 or 1.02 in rookie drafts -- will just push much better players down the board 😉
Boudewijn 4,713
And Gruden clearly has a plan for him. Should make him at least a decent RB, with upside.

Likely 1.2 cause Murray will be too tempting to pass on with his running ability.
BrianM 1,296
I swooned a bit over the Charlie Garner comparison, loved that player. I dont see Jacobs as being one of the best backs in the league, but he just might be in a great situation for fantasy right now.

We heard this about Amari Cooper last year as well. Gruden has a lot to prove.

That's not a bad point, except: - Gruden was not interested in winning in 2018. His plan clearly started in 2019. - Jacobs is a RB, not a WR. RBs are much more plug and play than WRs, which helps.

bhawks489 3,678
Likely 3rd round for a hyped rookie. Landing spot isn't bad for first year production. Not much competition there.
buzzkilloton 248
Gotta be a top 25 RB today. Put him around that Ingram/Cohen/KJ/Guice/Freeman grouping of ppr rbs today.
dashoe 6,462
So he will essentially take the lynch/martin role with richard doing the cop role. Not bad gruden likes to run to set up the pass so he should get 15-20 touches a game. And I don't anticipate the raiders having probably the worst defense again and with AB+tyrell+nelson keeping defenses honest the running game should blossom

pastorofmuppets2 10,638
the Chiefs in dissaray, Phil a year older and still insisting on keepin' up with the Duggars ... Flacco in Denver - could it be? no, now wait a second ... could it? NO sport has as much upheaval with division winners/playoff teams as the N.F.L. - and we see it, and still pay it meager heed methinks, year after year. this kid will be the featured back, and contribute mightily, on your 2019 A.F.C. West Champions! oh, and IN before the ensuing "what, he got traded to K.C.?" shtick.

I don't care if you listen to my analysis or not. Henry can catch but can't throw the ball to himself or call plays for himself. Or you could research it for yourself and come to your own conclusion. I like Jacobs as much as anyone here but I don't think he is a 3rd round pick in redraft leagues. In dynasty he is a top 2 pick
