Sivaro 943
This is on ROTO, and this was before A Brown got kicked to the curb Oakland Raiders wide receiver Hunter Renfrow cracked the top spot on the team’s first official depth chart at slot receiver. The 24-year-old rookie has shined so far at camp and has drastically outperformed Ryan Grant, so it appears it’s his spot to lose. Renfrow has displayed the same traits that made him excel with the Clemson Tigers, reliable hands and a knack for getting open

He was a preseason standout 2 He is good friends with the QB 3 Management loves him. 4 He was considered one of the most Pro ready WR in the draft 5 He is in the slot, and they get PPR points 6. They have a solid WR in Tyrell to draw best defenders 7 J, Jacobs is for real, and defenses will be keying on him. 8. The Defense sucks and they are going to have to throw the ball. Do you need any others? Tyrell is a proven vet that can become a target vacuum. Carr threw for just slightly over 1 (one!) TD per game. There are a lot more options on WW that have higher upside and better season schedules. He's in the slot. "Raiders coach Jon Gruden said Derek Carr has "got to throw the ball down the field" this upcoming season." Read order: Tyrell, Waller, Jacobs, all others.

Tyrell is good, but will draw the best defenders... Waller is intriguing, but not a standout yet. Jacobs is for real, but defenses will be all over him. Renfrow is the one that is looked over by defenses, and he can get open underneath. Looks like a PPR winner to me!

Mrmann1 83
I actually just dropped him to grab gus edwards to hedge the Baltimore back field. I liked renfrow before all this noise if I'm being honest. But without ab defenses will stack near the LOS which in my opinion does not bode well for the run game or the slot wr. But Derek can't throw down field very well so Ren might eat. Who knows. I wouldn't have minded holding him and see what happened but I'll surely lose out on him now. I get the same vibes from him as I did Watson. People slept on him but all he did was ball out and win in college, same as Hunter. Could be a solid stash. I personally, prefer Albert wilson. Dexter75 482
Grabbed Renfrow off waivers and dropped Beebe. Hes the slot receiver and already has some chemistry with Carr, enough said. Im not sure most fantasy players realize just how much production comes from the slot in today's NFL. Hill, JuJu, Edelman, Allen, Thielen...all do their most damage out of the slot. There are some great corners but very few great slot defenders and if LBs try and cover slot guys, they get roasted. Unfortunatley for Renfrow, he starts off week 1 against Chris Harris JR, who is a great slot defender. Will be a good test for him and I don't expect much but week 2 against KC sure looks mouth watering.
dlionsfan901 567
I grabbed Renfrow earlier but starting to think of dropping him. Realistically, how many rookie WR’s have broke out? I just don’t see it here. Someone convince me otherwise. I think he could be a decent WR4 you plug in during bye weeks.

Rookie season 62/869/ 5tds And he was the number 3 receiver. Renfrow is the number 2, and may see the same numbers. You will not know until the season starts. Drop him for some WR 3 without as much upside if you want...your loss.

I hate how all white WRs are compared to each other Calvin Ridley just last year. But rookie WRs contribute to fantasy every year.
devaster 4,399
Don't really get the Kupp comparison other than skin color. They are completely different receivers. Kupp was also prolific in college, while Renfrow was a scrappy gamer that showed up in big games. Renfrow is undersized without great measurables. He will have a tough time making it in the NFL. Sivaro 943
It is about upside and opportunity. Renfrow is not Cooper Kupp in athleticism. But his a gamer and he is going to get a shot for solid numbers. WHO on the waiver wire has a better chance?
