Gile Pile 1,206
Let's start this thread early this year. This thread is for bold predictions only, if you are looking for advice in this thread you are in the wrong place. Pascal Siakam will have 60% FG% Tom Chambers will not point out how bold prediction above was incorrect Ben Simmons will make at least one 3 pointer OG Anunoby will win 6th man award Lakers will fail to make playoffs again 3
AndreSplash 211
These are fun haha. Landry Shamet will average >3 made 3-pointers per game. Zubac will be a top 10 Center. IT signs with Boston after Kyrie and Rozier leave averages 20 PPG. Siakam averages 22 PPG next year. Trae Young leads the league in assists and is top 10 in scoring. Buddy Hield will be an All-Star. Malik Beasley and Michael Porter Jr. start more games than Will Barton and Torrey Craig next year. 7

It's because I don't believe he can stay healthy for a full season. He's 6"7, 285lbs. His wingspan is not that impressive. And NBA games are much more intense regarding off-ball screens and paint defense. There was a reason why under-sized, overweight players had to lose weight and change their game to fit the NBA. Those who didn't often end up as busts. I don't doubt his talents, though. He can be an early-round stud if everything pans out. But I believe he has a higher risk than everyone thinks. Your opinion is more likely to be wrong than right , therefore it is bold, and thus is belongs here. I predict Zion finds his way into the top 30-50 range.

In his rookie season, on limited minutes, with his season cut short due to injury, he showed just how good (maybe even great) he is. He is going to win multiple DPOYs, no questions asked. Would it really be a shock to see him average 2 threes a game, 2 blocks, and 1.5 steals this season. I know those numbers are crazy, and rare, but he is such a presence already on defense and has the stroke to know down 3s all day. If he gets, I'll say 31-33 minutes this season, I'm saying JJJ does that.

Can easily see him putting up similar numbers to Turner

Klay will be available at 2020 nba playoffs period so I doubt GSW will be eliminated in Round 1 against any team unless they face Rockets or a new Lakers superteam with Davis, LeBron and others.

Agree. Splash Bros plus Draymond has won a title before. The reason why they couldn't adjust this year is both because half of their starting lineup was injured at some point and because they couldn't adjust on the fly. Still made it to the finals and made a series of it. Next year they can apply for a hardship exception and game plan accordingly. Even if their best lineup during the playoffs is Splash Bros, Iggy, Draymond plus whoever else they can bring in then that's better than most teams in the West. Plus, they have the benefit of playing together longer. I think what's throwing people off is that now they're not one of the most dominant teams of all time, they're merely one of a few contenders, and they overreacting. But they're still one of a few legit contenders. 10:1 is a disgrace and I will probably take that line if I get around to it.
Gile Pile 1,206
I hope KD and Klay come back at 100%, league deserves them. But there is no guarantee that will happen. Iggy looks old to play extended minutes. Warriors are older with no bench. Any game where Curry or Green are sitting on the bench for rest (as they should, but you never know with new arena to fill), warriors should loose. Unless, Buttler, Kawhi and Tobias sign for veteran minimum. Rockets, Lakers, Spurs, OKC, Jazz, Denver, Portland are all ahead of Warriors. That leaves 8th spot available. We will see next spring

We will see next spring Exclude Spurs from that team list and include Clippers and u are ok. Moreover none of them will sign to GSW for veteran minimum and generally no veteran who had a good 2018 -19 season. The only way GSW to be competitive in the 2019-2020 regular season is to trade away Iggy who is old (35 years old) and has only 1 year left in his contract,$17M for the next year. We will see next spring There's no way in hell the Lakers, Spurs, OKC or Portland is ahead of the Warriors. The Warriors (without Durant) just swept Portland. Lakers missed the playoffs last year and all signs indicate FA aren't considering them. Spurs have two players plus Pop who maximizes the potential of his young guys and non-US players. But let's be real: DeRozan and LMA aren't better than Curry and Green et all. OKC sucks. Westbrook's inefficient chucking can't win. Jazz, Rockets, Denver...Maybe. It at least passes the "laugh test" unlike the others.
