So the Brewers just got swept by the Padres. In those three games check out these stats: Hernan Perez: 0/10, 3 K, 6 Men left on base. Travis Shaw: 0/7, 5K, 2 Men Left on base Jesus Agui

RIP Travis Shaw?

Yea I’m wondering this too.  I assume they are not calling him up to not play every day.  I believe I saw in the Travis Shaw thread that he has up to two more minor league stints, so maybe he gets sent down to work on things?

Booooom!

Must add in all leagues. He’s been absolutely thrashing AAA pitching over the past month. One of the hottest hitters in the minors joining a good lineup in a hitters park.

run don’t walk.

For sure.

Power, great hit tool and enough speed to nab 10-15 bags if they let him run some.

someone care to elaborate on if he will be playing 2b most or all days? thought i read somewhere he can/may play other positions....

No he's a strict 2B, and yes the brewers are not calling him up to play part-time. He will play mostly every day.

No he’s 2nd base only. He is not that good defensively but a stud at the plate.

27% K rate seems alarming.. Other than that, let's get it!

This is the only hesitation but even recently i think i saw he had struck out like 6 times in his last 70 ish AB's so that K rate was more indicative of an early season slump, but still a slight reason for pause nevertheless
