SpartyinFoCo 123
Moustakas left the game with a left hand contusion. He's probably not out for too long but worth monitoring the situation.

meh2 3,558
My guess is we’re about a week away from seeing him up for good. That should put him safely past his Suoer Two date. Brewers have lost 4 out of 5 and the team could use a spark. Travis Shaw is still broken, batting.167 with 10k’s in his last 18 at bats over the last 7 games. Perez isn’t the answer either. Even in a platoon role he’s only slashing.222/.275/.278 over the last 15 games.

Agreed, if he doesn't come up immediately with Moose's injury, I would still guess a week away would be worst-case scenario.
Popular Post RoadApple 446
So the Brewers just got swept by the Padres. In those three games check out these stats: Hernan Perez: 0/10, 3 K, 6 Men left on base. Travis Shaw: 0/7, 5K, 2 Men Left on base Jesus Aguilar: 0/4, 2 K, 2 Men Left on base That is a combined 0/21 with 10K and 10 men left on base. I was one of those who said that the Brewers were taking a big gamble sending Hiura down for monetary reasons but that I could ALMOST understand it. They certainly have to realize now that the gamble is backfiring and it could cost them a post season berth. 7 3

Good point, and I wonder w/ all the influx of young talent if the MLBPA will address and hopefully correct this in the future. It’s a shame to see these Uber talents waste away in the minors, while the GM has to spin it like a DJ during every interview. It parallels the BS rhetoric we get out of politicians on a regular. (Piss down your back and claim it’s raining kinda thing.)

Some sleazy looking guy in a trench coat approaches and says: "Pssst, kid. Want an inside track on a minor leaguer? It's good stuff"

It's unfathomable to me that a contending team is letting Travis Shaw block Hiura. At this point, Shaw is the 2nd worst hitter in baseball ahead of only Chris Davis in my opinion. He can't even make contact
meh2 3,558
This coming Tuesday, the 25th, is my prediction. He should be past Super Two then. Shaw will get shipped back to the minors, hopefully down to Rookie ball so he can try to hit over .200.
