Backdoor Slider 8,295
We use K/BB instead of Ks, which may increase Paddack’s value. Thinking about offering my Riley for him. I’ve got a ton of bats, but could use a SP keeper. As of now Giolito I’m hoping lands himself in the mix. We keep up to 8 for as long as want. Here’s my current options: Mookie Betts OF Cody Bellinger OF Trea Turner SS Juan Soto OF ———————— Victor Robles OF Nick Senzel OF Corey Seager SS Keston Hiura 2B Jorge Polanco SS Austin Riley OF Max Fried SP Lucas Giolito SP JRam 3B So should I offer Riley for Paddack (not worried too much about production this year)? ASHLANDARROWS1992 2,169
IF you don't plan on keeping riley, and your offense is more than covered without him, then i have no issues with this move
BostonCajun 1,702
I think you're offense is pretty well structured so giving up a bat for a good potential keeper arm is not a bad idea. I like it. Thanks for the help with mine.
DarinB300 2,437
I would, because then if you keep Paddack & Giolito, that is a good tandem to build your rotation around & you still have plenty of good bats for keepers.
KirbyYatesEnthusiasm 27
I normally wouldn't recommend trading a young bat for a young arm, but I think it makes a lot of sense for you given your roster (especially if you're not concerned with Paddack's innings limit this year). I would endorse making this offer.
mocha4313 828
I hesitate considering the worse track record of pitching prospects but besides Giolito, I see no surefire pitching keeper so I guess I would do it.
Rush2112 4,329
Stay put with Tomahawk chop he's by far the better overall player, Socal got sent to the minors
tonywow 1,185
I think it's a good deal for you, Paddack/Giolito look to be a great young combo in keep forever and your offense is certainly strong enough to move Riley. HH
