Might be nice to compile a complete list of closers and possible outcomes going into the trade deadline. I'm sure some of this is wrong as the scotch is flowing so feel free to correct/addend anything

Pre-Deadline Recap or my take at least   ARZ - Holland and a bunch of trash, dont see much changing at the deadline ATL - Cool Luke Jackson gots it ROS i think BAL - Avoid - commit

Translation: “I’d like to get him out of the closer role but all of my other options suck just as bad.”

Jimenez in Detroit right?

Probably. He and his 5+ era. The Tigers are now BY FAR the worst team in baseball. I'm not even sure they're closer is worth owning.

Is Bradley pitching better now? Those walks are scary

10 straight scoreless appearances with 19 K's.  Still a bit high on the walks but the K's are up there.

Diamondbacks' Archie Bradley: Notches first 2019 save

14 hrs ago | by RotoWire Staff

Bradley earned his first save of the season by not allowing a baserunner over 1.1 scoreless innings to finish Tuesday's win over the Yankees. He did not have a strikeout or a walk.

Bradley struggled in the back half of June but has rebounded nicely with 10 straight scoreless outings and a 19:6 K:BB in 12.1 innings. The 26-year-old has a 4.18 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 64:27 K:BB across 47.1 innings and has only seven holds in what's been a disappointing season thus far.

Do you guys think Ryne Stanek will close for the Marlins when he comes off the DL?  He was used as an opener for Tampa but he throws gas and there really is no favorite in that Miami pen to close games.

Intriguing question. With the streak that Jarlin Garcia is on I'd guess that they roll with him while he is hot, but if comes back to Earth I would think Stanek would be an option, and would certainly be part of a committee if they go that route.

When Rogers and Romo need a day off it's a strong possibility he'll close

Just my opinion, but I consider Dyson a better option that Romo, who is more of a righty specialist at this point in his career. I know Romo was a "closer" this year and Dyson was in a set-up role, but Dyson has closing experience and the Marlins didn't really have anyone better.
