Magnus88 20
The strikeout and walk rates are fine for Boyd. Home Runs allowed have been the big issue. In a redraft league would it be absurd to drop Boyd? Unless Boyd is dealt to Houston, who seem to maximize pitcher potential, he seems too unreliable to start. Any underlying stats which show reason to expect improvement soon?
Thenewwildone8 782
I wouldn’t drop him, but I would either try trading him or holding until after the trade deadline before dropping him.
ty5592 373
He has like the 4th highest strikeout rate and his peripherals are elite. He’s top 15 in fip xfip and siera iirc and his statcast numbers are solid. If you’re in a small league than I guess you could drop him but he should be held imo
