blazeh 215
What's the 'highest' that you would buy low on Kyrie right now, or is it all but a lock that he misses ROS? I've been pitching reasonable buy lows at his owner all season, but at this point his owner is willing to sell and I wouldn't do any of the offers he previously rejected

I can understand though because you would think he want to play at all cost considering they are heading into the playoffs. It was definitely a risky play for sure but I assumed Kyrie would want to play through the season and push for playoffs. Doncic is solid as hell but his ft% was dipping and he’s low on stocks, as well as bad TO. It didn’t work out, hopefully this singer trade goes through
My Dinner With Andre 5,805
Too bad because the Nets have a great schedule the rest of the way...

Was hoping he would bounce back this season so I checked this thread every now and then. At least it opens up a streaming spot now if you had no IR. All the power to you my dude, the thing is those of us that drafted around 9-12 this year were **** outta luck (sidenote: So damn tired of always getting bottom pick in my league). The options left on the table all had question marks: Beal, Kyrie, Paul George, Kawhi, Butler. Injury history/ load management. I bet all my chips on kyrie and his ceiling with hopes of Brooklyn competing for the 8th seed come march. I knew it was a gamble in october and here we are.... Watch when I refuse to draft him next year and he plays 79 games and finishes top 8 lol. 1

Lol I think its 50/50 that when KD comes back, the nets cruise through the regular season and start load managing Kyrie to save him for a playoff run

TheBoondocks 440
Funny thing is that if he had done the surgery way back in the early days of the season, he'd be fully healed by now and playing. #flatearth 2
rando 462
Some guys make their own good luck, Kyrie makes his own terrible luck. As of today I'm building a voodoo doll and that's the only share of Irving I ever expect to have again.

DonutGiveUp 2,023
Man at this rate we might have to draft 3rd-4th rounders in the first rounds with all the injury prone and load management stars

I think he is done. But yeah you can’t drop him until it’s announced. So that is all you can do beyond someone trading for him which is highly unlikely and karma wise if I had him I wouldn’t want to trade him to someone now even if they were willing to take him. Wouldn’t feel right about it.

My Dinner With Andre 5,805
I never liked the Brooklyn Nets signing Kyrie, even if it meant getting Durant. I would have passed on them and kept DLo and just continued the grind... Edited February 20, 2020 by My Dinner With Andre

Which was a lost year in essence, since we knew KD wouldn't play. The Nets would do this move a thousand times over, so would any other team in it’s position. But from a fantasy perspective and now Kyrie a possible shutdown candidate, yeah it definitely blows .

Quazza 2,353
I'd probably take Marcus Smart for him at this point which is unfortunate as I own him too
rfhamilton 81
I jumped ship and traded him for dedmon with the news that capela was out for a few weeks in my points league. Grind it out so I at least have something in that slot so I can make playoffs. I figure once the playoffs come round there will be some possible gems on the wire sprouting that I can get once dedmon cools down. Could blow up in my face but I reckon theres more chance of him shutting down than making a return. No one but a fantasy scrub would trade anything actually valuable for kyrie right now. After his knee procedures I don't think he trusts surgery. You can't judge this man's actions by common sense since he's special. I think the real telling sign is, I would not even trade this guy for Spencer Dinwiddie who is maddening to own but at least plays.
thornton1986 101
He was just dropped in my league. I think I’m going to burn my #1 waiver on him just in case he plays again. More likely he doesn’t play than he does but could be a huge boost if by some miracle he does
izeroi 89
Overnight he was dropped in two of me leagues. I think he's done and the inevitable "end of season surgery" blurb is going to pop up.
