My guys as well.  It's enough to work the waiver and be aware of what's going on.  I've liked the show for several years. Really weird though, only in the past few weeks MIke has started to really annoy me.  Jason's the man though.

Yeah I hear ya, he's a bit much sometimes. For the most part they make me laugh.
Mike - "Wait a minute wait a minute, Did you say Chris Goblin'?"
Jason - "He's just eating up those targets"

Most of the Sirius XM guys are good. John Hansen, Jeff Radcliffe, Jeff Mans, Mike Dempsey & Bob Harris are all shows I value.  Howard Bender & Jim Bowden are brutal to listen to. Also, it’s hard to take porn star Lisa Ann very seriously, though she seems fairly knowledgeable

THIS.  I can't STAND Howard Bender, even though we have similar tastes in music haha.  I like Jeff Ratcliffe the best.

Yeah, I listen to pretty much these guys too, if only because they have the shows during the commuting hours.

I find the guru John Hansen very annoying, as I detailed in another thread (I think the Evan Silva thread?).  Formalizes names too much ("one Christopher Godwin", "one Mitchell Trubisky is laying an egg", "Eugene Marquis Hilton is still going to produce with one Jacoby Brisett"), overuses catch phrases ("Health and reliability thy name is not Jordan Reed"), and just a hard to describe weird cadence and trailing off of sentences.

Mike Clay I believe is on the morning show on Mondays. He often talks about what articles he's written for ESPN and ties that into his analysis.

Jeff Radcliffe of PFF is awesome.  Really enjoy hearing the detailed statistical analysis and data and not just some "experts" call on who is going to blow up the coming weekend.

Howard Bender and the GM Jim Bowden.  Bender is probably the most obnoxious of the on air personalities.  I imagine his microphone is covered with spit.  Talks about his DFS plays and how they're scrumptious and tasty.

Mike Dempsey and Bob Harris of Football Diehards are fun to listen to.  But I think one of them has this weird lisp that is just completely distracting.

Love listening to Lisa Ann.  Maybe it's just because it's a little titillating listening to fantasy football advice from a real porn star.  But she does seem like she knows what she's talking about and does her research.

I just can't get into any of the RW videos.  Typically just skip them all.

Personally, I love the show.  But sometimes it gets frustrating.  Especially when they're discussing a player I'm interested in and then a joke comes up and they all three jump in.  Sometimes the discussion gets back to the player but often they just move on.

Agreed, usually Jason that gets derailed, tries two or three times to get back to his point, and then gives up and joins in on the joke.

I avoid ESPN analysis as much as possible. The only good fantasy thing they have going is the Sunday morning pregame show for last minute news & gametime weather conditions

CBS, Footballguys, FantastyPros, Fantasy Feast, The Footclan guys whatever they’re called—I listen to em all, but then think for myself.

The info and insights they put out are largely useful, but letting their actionable advice guide your decisions is often a path to overthinking, and rage.

Beware of cocksure predictions. From anyone. But these guys dispense em too easily. And is it just me, or are the majority of them always complaining about how bad their teams are?

The one I find myself agreeing with most often is Jamey Eisenberg.

Basically this.

I'm just listening to hear some different opinions and takes that might bring up some good points that I haven't thought about.
Or mention a player that was off my radar.   After hearing McLauren mentioned by Jason on FFs, it put him on my radar and allowed me to pick him up before he became a thing.

That being said, I've probably picked up more duds than stars.  But you can always drop a dud.  Can't always find a star for free.

I would love for these DFS guys who talk on the radio be transparent and tell us how much they won or lost that week.  They're all throwing out predictions about what's great value, who's going to eat, who has tough match-ups, etc.  But let us know your results so we can actually see if you're any good.  Otherwise you're just like any fish throwing their money in and hoping to hit it big.

Back to the guru John Hansen.  He often talks about his specific team, trades that he's trying to make, regrets about picking the wrong guy to start.  Hey guru, NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR FANTASY TEAM.  Nothing more annoying than listening to discussion about a league that you're not even a part of.

I saw the name Chris Harris up above and then remembered he was on ESPN and then left to start his own thing. I just looked him up, he started HarrisFootball, but it looks like it's just podcasts? And free?  So no Evan Silva type paywall charging ridiculous prices?  I always enjoyed his stuff so I may have to take a listen.

I have a lot of drive time so I'll listen to Fantasy Footballers

discovered these guys late last year.  I literally laugh out loud at some of the stuff they talk about.  Really entertaining and their opinions are fairly decent.  Some of their viewpoints kind of crack me up...like Kerryon...ha...just cracks me up how high that guy is on him.

Man...Chris Harris is good but it's hard for me to listen to his podcasts.  Especially when he doesn't' have a guest and it's just him.

He also puts out a pretty extensive draft primer (think it's like $25).  I believe he also has something on YouTube where he reviews film of players.

Harris's podcasts and YouTube videos are free. He does have a draft "alamanac" PDF which comes out in early August and gets updated twice which costs $17. Harris' doesn't rely on his audience paying for his products. His business model is sponsor based and he will promote his sponsors several times each podcast. It can be annoying but I can understand why he needs to do it to make a living and you can always forward through them (they are 60-90 seconds). It beats him going behind a paywall like Silva.

[Anyone else use borischen.co] for weekly advice, etc.? Thoughts? Anyone that also uses it notice that sometimes the charts don't update when they are supposed to? For example, PPR Flex chart never updates prior to Sunday kickoff from Thursday. I've tried contacting Boris Chen with no luck.

Chris Harris is my go to, I've paid for the almanac three years in a row and I love the content.

I don't get why you guys like Tagliere. I listen to the podcast if I've gone through all my other shows(Harris, Fantasy Footballers, Rotounderworld). All Tagliere does is makes statements starting with the word "obviously" and victory lap on his calls that worked out. Which is easy when you "love" three dozen players every week. He just comes off as wicked arrogant to me. His hot takes are things like, "Davante Adams is going to go off this week."

I confirm, excellent site, always fresh information
I’m testing bethard bets with footballoutsiders now, though I could be wrong many times. But in general, the main thing is not to lose much.
