tpat30 784
These announcers blind? His foot was twisted the other way... I see a lot of really useless routes in some of these plays. Specifically Hardman’s routes where he basically stays in one spot without doing much.
bomont 813
Holy hell Colts what a terrible time for an injury. Get hurt later!
bomont 813
WTF? Explaining all these new onsides rules, what total BS - can't have extra players on one side etc
Joe Odam 925
I'm about sure McCoy didn't play a down in the 2nd half

Brownsfan74 889
How do you give the guy with a 5.4 ypc and by far your leading rusher 0 carries, and the guy averaging 1.4 ypc 9 carries? WTH is Reid thinking? 2

kcm012 80
Reid is a great offensive coach, but he's not great at half-time adjustments. He stuck with what was failing in the first half.
Joe Odam 925
The good news is I started Watkins and McCoy. Everything is just A-O-K 🙄
Sivaro 943
I would not touch anyone that runs the ball in KC. This team lives by the pass, and the RB's are all to brittle to trust.

Brownsfan74 889
This might be the first time I've ever seen a team's leading rusher get 0 carries.

Hunt had 1,782 yards from scrimmage and won the rushing title in 2017 and then had 1,202 yards from scrimmage thru 11 games last year before being released. The only reason he is going with a RBBC this year is because these 3 clowns dont equal one Hunt and Mahomes slinging it 35 times a game is a much better option. I was responding to the comment about how Reid could consistently produce RB1s while forgetting he had a running game at times. That's how he has done it over the years: elite production in the 12-13 games he used them that offset the handful of games he abandoned the run. He has done this his career. The most recent and prominent example is Kareem Hunt late in the 2017 season (which coincided with a losing streak). The committee talk is missing the point. It doesn't matter if there is or isn't a committee if they are throwing 90 percent of the time like they did tonight.

Probably not. Obviously my first comment was considered a joke so I am just continuing the trend. Edited October 7, 2019 by FitzMagic
andypro77 273
Tonight's takeaway should be this: The Colts are one of the top organizations in all of football, top to bottom. This is a team that had their franchise retire, had the all-world linebacker out, started 3 day two rookies, lost a bunch of other guys during the game, and went into KC and beat them. They are so solid all-around, that this is the type of team that can maybe make a Super Bowl run in the near future without a all-pro QB. They're also one of the youngest teams in the league (youngest when Vinatieri retires) and have an ungodly amount of cap space. The Colts are good. The sad thing is with Luck they would have been great.

Kept them on the field and didn't let Mahomes beat them.

They're also killing it on trades. Last year the had the #3 pick and traded to the Jets for the #6 and a few 2nd round picks. At #6 they took Quentin Nelson, and used their 2nd round picks on Darrius Leonard and starting RT Braden Smith. This year they traded out of the 1st round and picked up a 2nd rounder next year. That 2nd rounder is from the currently 0-5 Redskins.
